A week has passed since the incident of Kusonoki disappearing, everything went back to normal, well until now, whispers were spreading like a virus in our school, I went outside awaiting the news to see Niko rubbing Kaito's back and Ume pacing back and forth with a newspaper

"Its okay Mariachi-Kun, deep breath in, deep breath out" Niko whispered to him as Kaito obeyed her orders sweating, "Y/N," Ume looked at me with a serious face. I gulped "what happened now?" I asked worryingly Ume spoke up "Basically, control was freed, and a town next to where control was trapped, two of the villagers are now missing, a mother and her child" my eyes widened as I looked at Kaito and he looked at me, I sat down next to him

"What's gonna happen now? What if me and my family are targeted? Kusonoki is my main ancestor and, and-" I shushed him "shh, its okay, the possibilities are unlikely, these beasts are dangerous yes, but we don't really know if their eyes are focused on the Masashige family" I reassured him cupping his cheek, as both of our faces were slightly tinted with pink. He calmed down, "yeah- yeah, you're right, it'll be okay, everything will be okay" I smiled, "well, um, sorry to say this but uh, the two villagers are apart of the Masashige family, according to the news" Ume worryingly chuckled newspaper on hand

"Let me see that!" Kaito snatched the newspaper reading it, I went closer to see who the daughter and mother was Hiachi Masashige and Futaomote Masashige "do you recognize them?" I asked Kaito, Kaito shook his head "no, I haven't met them either" Hiachi wore a white kimono with sakura print, she had black hair with a read headband and was holding a doll, as for Futaomote she had long hair and a grey floral dress

Once again, Kaito was stressed out as me and Niko comforted him

Time skip cleaning time

I threw the trash as I sighed, I was worried about Kaito and his family, I looked behind me, I wasn't in school anymore, it was a long hallway, there I saw a black butterfly "follow the butterfly." A voice in my head commanded, and I did what it said. I lost track of the butterfly, I looked around trying to see a single glimpse of it as I saw a room, I opened the door, my eyes widened blood was everywhere bones and 3 skulls were on the ground in the wall there was writing, written in blood

"YOU WONT HAVE TIME I'LL DEVOUR YOU IN AN INSTANT 魔女"

After reading that I looked behind me, I was outside? I looked down, I already changed shoes, the heck? I saw Kaito sitting in the bench probably waiting for me, I tried to shake off what happened earlier and headed my way to him

Kaito POV:
The butterflies started only coming when Y/N is here, huh, weird. Y/N sat next to me, I laid my head at their shoulder gently, I was quite tired from everything and just wanted to relax. The butterflies appeared with two new white baby butterflies, we both suspected that the orange butterfly was the other parent but the orange butterfly didn't appear at all, the other white butterfly stayed on one spot watching the baby butterflies and the white butterfly fluttered around

??? POV:
The orange butterfly landed on my hand as I squished it, "you did a good job, now you are no longer useful to me." I just need to wait for a few years and then I can strike, those four are not safe.
