Murmurs were the only thing I could hear that day, and it wasn't even about me, people didn't bother insulting me or anything, they were constantly whispering spreading out something, I wasn't interested I thought it would just be a regular gossip spreading fake news and everything, I make my way outside where me, Kaito, Ume and Niko all eat together to only see that they were whispering as well

"Y/N-San, there you are" Ume looked at me, her eyebrows furrowed "alright what's the fuss about? If its affected you guys i'm guessing this is no regular drama" they looked at me like I just said a slur "m-my apologies Y/N but...have you ever read a newspaper before?" Niko asked trying to sound as polite as possible "I mean, no not really I don't find interest in them" Kaito nodded backing me up "I mean true, I only heard this cause of my father and mother"

"Well" Niko spoke up "basically, 4 witches, or beasts Control, Jealousy, Rebirth, and Rage, they rampaged across the earth, and if i'm correct killing over millions so Kusunoki Masashige, a well known and mighty samurai fought them for ten nights, he had randomly vanished including the witches-

-And only now they found where the 4 beasts are Control was sent to the east, unable to feast Jealousy was sent to the bottom of the sea, part of a forgotten legacy. Rage was trapped in his strongest cage, seething with wrath and counting her days, Rebirth was forced deep into the Earth, endlessly watching the world in reverse"

Hearing that story caused my jaw to slightly drop "w-wait Kaito-Senpai aren't you a Masashige yourself?" Kaito hesitantly nodded, Niko spoke up again "And remember, this occurred years ago, and apparently a samurai was protecting control" Ume opened her mouth "I suspected that samurai being Kusonoki, I may be wrong tho" there was a long deep silence, this was no laughing matter, this can be serious

"And the fact Kusonki is my main ancestor." Kaito spoke up worried for him and his family, I don't blame him if that Samurai really was Kusonki than the beasts would have their eyes on the Masashige family, and even if it wasn't, I would be pretty sure the beasts wont let the Masashige family slide, they had been trapped for years and i'm scared what rage would do, considering her name is well, rage

The day went on with uncomfortable murmurs and silence, I swear I haven't seen a genuine smile that day. It creeps me out

Timeskip end of day

I walked outside making my way to the bench near the small flower bed. "Hey" Kaito said trying to make some sort of conversation "hey," and once again deep uncomfortable silence filled in, we were never like this, but I understand he's just worried for his family, and I would be too, the two white butterflies appeared in the flower bed as the orange butterfly also appeared, the white and orange butterfly fluttered around together as a bunch different butterflies appeared, green, pink, blue, all of them! Just not white

The two white butterflies glowed slightly, but as me and Kaito's attention was with the orange and white butterfly, the other white butterfly disappeared "where did the other white one go" I asked "huh, I dunno" I looked around trying to find a glimpse of the butterfly but there was nothing to see, I shrugged but not being able to shake it off

"Well, lets go it's getting late" I nodded, he held my hand as we made our way home
