Lately Jake has been a lot of time with Amber. It was weird for me because usaully he would spend his free time with Edward playing football,making a mess everywhere and making a A LOT of noise.

One day Jake,Edward and I were sitting watching some TV.

Edward:dad lets play some football please

Jake:not now Edward maybe later or tomorrow ok

Edward sighed but agreed. That is when Amber comes in

Amber:daddy come play with me

Jake:sure come on lets go

I looked at the whole scene and was kinda pissed at Jake. I putted my attention on Edward and saw that he has tears in his eyes. I pulled him closer and hugged him.

next day....

Today Edward and I woke up at the same time. He helped me with breakfast and was making jokes just like his uncle Louis.

I sent Jake's breakfast to the bedroom. I heard Jake in the shower and told him his breakfast is on the bed side table. He said thank you and I left.

Later on Jake came downstairs.

Jake:hey Ed do you still wanna play that game???

Edward didn't say anything. I knew Edward was gonna give Jake the silent treatment, I just had a feeling.

Jake:Edward I'm talking to you

still nothing. Edward stood up and walked out of the living room.

Jake:what's that all about

Me:he's giving you the silent treatment

Jake:but why

Me:because yesterday when he asked you to play football with him you said no. But when Amber asked you,you said yes.

Jake:oh

Me:yeah, oh

Jake:hey I'm only spending a lot of time with Amber because you don't do the whole playing with dolls and drinking tea and stuff

Me:it doesn't mean you have to spend less time with Edward...duh

Jake laughed amd kissed me

Jake:but what am I gonna do

Me:I don't know

Jake:I know. I can make a mess around the housr as a surpriseto him

Me:yeah or, you can apologise to him and get him ice cream

Jake:this is why I married you

Me:just go

Jake then bought ice cream for all of us and went upstairs to Edward's room. Jake went in the room amd sat next to him.

I went upstairs and stood at the door listening to their conversation.

Jake:Edward I'm really sorry

Edward still didn't say anything and looked away

Jake:please talk to me

still nothing

Jake:I bought ice cream

but still Edward didn't say anything. By now I thought it was time to step in.

Me:Edward please talk to your father

Edward:no he left me to play with Amber

Jake almost started to cry and then I whispered something in his ear. His face lit up amd he hugged Jake

Edward:come on daddy let's go play!!!

Jake:what did you say to him

Me:I told him that if he forgave you, you will teach him how to shave

Jake:really???

Me:yes because last time he tried it I had to put plasters on his face

Jake:wow

Me:yeah so go play with your son

Jake went off. Just then I saw Amber standing there with her dolls looking up at me with her puppy eyes.

Me:how about we eat some ice cream

she threw her doll on the ground, grabbed my hand and took me to the kitchen for the ice cream

Everything was normal again amd Jake made sure he spent the same amount of time with Amber and Edward and me.
