ME WITHOUT YOU (Kookjin)

Part 2

Looking down at his constantly blaring cellphone, Jin tapped his heels against the floor in uncertainty for what seemed like a long time, before abruptly standing up to his feet in one go.

"Oh, you're not done with your food yet, where at you going?" Jimin questions with his mouth stuffed with food.

Jin gave him a weak smile before timidly bowing in his direction "I'm sorry Jimin hyung, but I need to attend to something very quickly"

Jimin chuckled in adoration, It's been a few days since he started hanging out with the junior, and with each day, he's found himself constantly drawn closer to Jin. The boy was very easy to love honestly, he still couldn't quite comprehend or understand fully why the boy didn't have lots of friends.

"Please" Jimin began waving his hands dismissively in the air "Just Jimin is fine, hyung makes me sound old" he joked thereby coaxing a small laugh from Jin

Jin nodded before he excused himself.

The stairs leading up to the rooftop of the school were endless and he was already running out of breath by the time he made it to the top. He looked down at his phone again where the message read

Meet me on the rooftop__J

Looking around carefully the place seemed to be empty, and he figured returning back to the cafeteria before lunch break was over was a much better idea. But when the cool breeze gently touched his skin, blowing with ease through his long black locks, it made him rethink his decision. Might as well stay up here for a while to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Breathing in and out Jin relaxed, aligning himself properly against a wall and closing his eyes. His long lashes fluttering close.

"Thought you weren't coming, I've been calling and texting you"

He heard the familiar voice say, thereby jolting him out of his small slumber.

Jin mumbled a small apology inside his mouth, keeping his head down.

Jungkook ignored it, reaching his hand out to Jin where a small plastic bag came into view. "Here" he says waving the bag in his face

Jin looked up at him and then to the bag, curiously "W-what's this?"

"Are you going to take it or not? Stop behaving like such a dummy"

Immediately Jin reached for the bag which Jungkook let go off instantly. Ransacking through and bringing out the content, his eyes grew wide and bright

"A new pair?" He asks in total awe

Shrugging his shoulders, Jungkook said "Yes. I may have accidentally broken your last pair when you bumped into me, i also know your parents are out of town for the week and you won't be able to book an appointment or to go to your eye doctor on your own"

Before Jin could reply, he added "And yes they were highly recommended and checked by a professional"

"T-thank y-you" Jin stuttered, still unable to believe the Jeon Jungkook actually went to such lengths for him

Shoving both hands into his pocket, Jungkook rocked back and forth on his heels "So how are you? Does your body still hurt?"

Jin shook his head while trying on his new pair of glasses which where slightly weighing less compared to his old ones "No, I'm fine" he says calmly

Jungkook nooded "Okay. I won't be coming over tonight so don't wait up for me"

"Why?" Jin asks with concern

"I have one those stupid family dinners to attend with my parents, and moreover you should rest, I think i was a little too rough with you the last time"

Jin's lips opened slightly forming the 'O' shape as he nodded his head in agreement "Okay"

His phone went off as Jungkook was about to say something else

"Jimin hyung" he called out, bringing the phone to his ears

Immediately the name slipped his lips, Jungkook's face was already distorted in curiousity, Mind racing with different kinds of questions to bombard Jin with after the call

He listened attentively until Jin lowered the phone from his ears with a small smile playing on his full lips. A smile which Jungkook fucking hated

Clicking his tongue inside his mouth, Jungkook asks "Don't tell me that's Jimin as in Park Jimin" he demanded

Jin slightly nodded "Hmm yes it's him"

Jungkook chuckled, a very menacing kind "And you call him hyung?" He bursted out laughing.

Jin didn't say another word, only watched Jungkook laugh out loud to his heart content.

When he eventually calmed down from his laughter, he turned to face Jin properly without a hint of humor showing on his well defined face

"Since when have you known him?" He demanded

"A week maybe"

"And he fucking already has your number? Are you for real Jin?" Without giving the other a chance to reply, Jungkook continued "And what the fuck did he want? or rather what did he say that got you smiling like a fool?"

Jin lowered his head

"Don't you fucking look at the ground Jin, I'm here, right here in front of you so fucking talk to me before I get mad" He roared

"B-but you're yelling" Jin whispered, his palms sweaty from anxiety

"I wouldn't be if only you stopped acting like you're scared of every single thing around you and just freaking talk! now would I?

"He invited me for a movie date with some of his other friends tonight, he said it'll be a great chance for me to make new friends because I told him I didn't have any" he mumbled under his breath

Jungkook scoffed, clicking his tongue bitterly in his mouth "And you're going?"

"Yes I am"

Jungkook chuckled, corking his neck side to side as he eyed Jin from the top of his head down to his toes. He exhaled "You're not" he simply stated causing Jin to shoot up his head instantly, eyes wide from shock

"But why? I really want to go, and moreover I have no other plans after school"

Jungkook launched forward until he was caging the surprised boy between the wall and his buff chest "Cancel that stupid date instantly, and I demand you stay indoors working on your assignments if you have nothing better to do with your time!"
he gritted through his teeth

Jin shut his eyes tight, trying to calm his raging heart. Jungkook was scary at times, if not all the damn time, and moreover he was older than him and was also his senior in school.
