Feel the music{Ashton Irwin fanfic}

chapter two

l listened in amazement. Luke was an amazing singer, as was calum and Michael. I lower the sound of the Luke's guitar to maximize his vocals. Once I was done I looked up and saw Luke staring at me as he sang. I flashed him a brief smile and let my eyes wander to Ashton who was playing the drums. Hoping he would look at me I smile towards him but I realize he his shooting daggers into Luke's back.

Interesting. this song was fantastic. I couldn't stop my fingers from tapping out the beat. I wonder if I could play this myself on the piano. Maybe one of the boys will teach me how to play it on the guitar.

The last chords rang out from their instruments and Mr. Collins spoke over the mic, "Great jobs boys! I think that deserves a lunch break." They all pumped their fists and high five each other and run out the room.

" Watch the-" I started to say just as Michael trips over the fan wire and crashes into Ashton. I push my chair away from the table and get up to help them. It seems Michael somehow landed on top of Ashton. Michael is a tall guy and you can hear ashton groaning from his weight.

"Mate? Can you get off me now? Your kinda crushing my rib cage." Michael quickly got off of Ashton and I reached a hand out for Ashton to grab. " You okay Ash?" I asked him as he stood up. When I called him Ash the boys eyebrows raised. " Yeah I'm fine, thanks Kayla." " No problem don't want yo- um anyone getting hurt don't we?" the others caught onto my little mistake  and once again raised their eyebrows smirking at each other. Thankfully they dint say anything but just all nodded and agreed.

"Alrighty then. I'm going to head out for some lunch. you can too if you want or order in here. There is menus in the drawer. Kayla keep an eye on these four. They are trouble makers." He sent me a wink and walked out.

" So who wants pizza?" said Calum. The boys all raised their hands and laughed. I just picked up my bag and was about to walk out when Ashton called out, " Hey! where are you going? Stay and eat with us." I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to bother them or anything. " Um I don't know if I should. This is your downtime I don't want to bother anyone." "Nonsense. We love you already. Especially our boy ashton here." Michael put his large hand on Ash's shoulder and smiled very proudly. I let out a small giggle as Ashton elbowed Michael and he grunted in pain. "Anyways." Luke started. "Lets order the pizza. Kayla you are staying." I sigh and say sure and they all cheer.

After Luke ordered a large pizza we all sprawled out on the couch. Well Ashton sat on the floor in front of my feet as I sat on the couch. Calum sat n the other end of the couch staring at his iPhone, Luke sat in the chair across from Michael having a staring contest. oddly enough the silence isn't awkward, in fact I am really enjoying it.

I flip my hair forward and play with it. Something I do out of habit. Michael saw me and his eyes widened. "How the hell did I not notice your hair is blue?" He gets up to look at it up close and I say, "Well I don't know, I um did it last night sort of a random decision. I have been wanting to do it forever but was really hesitant until my friend Sarah made me do it." " I am glad you did do it, it's really cool!" " Thanks Michael." I said back to him. " No problem and call me Mikey" I smile at him as he sits down.

"Ash how can sitting on the floor be comfortable. Why don't you sit on the couch?" I ask him. He looks up at me and smiles making his dimple show. This boy cannot be any hotter. "Okay then."

He stands up and sits right back down on top of me. "Um when I said sit on the couch I meant for you to sit on the actual couch not me." "I know. It's just that your much more comfortable." he stretched out and out his hands in my face.

"Okay that's enough." I shove him off of me onto the couch. The boys laugh and turn their heads to the door that just opened.

I see a head of red hair poke through the door and I jump up.

"SARAH!" I scream and run to hug her. "Oof. Hey Kayla."

"What are you doing here?"

"Well I thought I would surprise you being that it is your first day."

Her eyes widen as she looks around the room and notice who they are. Sarah happens to be a big fan of Five Seconds Of Summer.

"Oh my god! Your- you guys- uh-hi. I'm Sarah." she blushes as she greets the boys. The first one to stand up and greet her was Michael. I knew he would when I saw the disappointment erase from his features when he realized that Sarah was not the pizza guy and his jaw dropped.

"Well helloooo there. I'm Michael but you can call me Mikey."

"Hey um Mikey. I uuh love your hair."

Mikey smiled at her. "Sarah why don't you stay and eat with us?" I asked her. "Yeah sure." She and Mikey went to sit on the couch and I winked at her as they did so. I watched her look at me and blush before I asked Luke to teach me the chords on the guitar from the last song as we wait for the pizza.

"Definitely! I've always wanted to teach someone. But do you know how to play at all?" I smirked at the question and grab the acoustic guitar next to calum. Finally he looks up from his phone. I strum out a few chords. "Anyone can play a few chords lets hear you play a song." Calum said. I looked at Sarah as she looked at me knowing that I was going to blow them away.

I start to play Let Her Go by passenger and sing. When I finish their jaws all drop except for Sarah and I couldn't hold back a smirk when I also see the pizza Guy also staring.

My smile widens as the boy all start to clap and cheer. I place the guitar back in it's stand and turn around only to be caught in a hug from Ashton. oh. I wrap my arms around his slim torso and breathe in the scent of his cologne. I feel his hand on my lower back as he whispers, "That was amazing." "Thank you." I say back to him. I don't ever want this moment to end.
