Jamar "Mar" Allen, hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, now calls LaGrange, Georgia, his home—an hour southwest of the vibrant city of Atlanta. At just nineteen, he's already pursuing his passion for electrical engineering as a student at The Georgia Institute of Technology.

Living on the campus of Georgia Tech, Jamar thrives in the lively atmosphere, surrounded by knowledge and like-minded peers. Behind his easygoing demeanor, he proudly identifies as gay, embracing his true self with courage and resilience.
