Just wanted to clear the clarify for anyone wondering this story is still active and I don't plan on abandoning it.... Now yes I say that for a lot of my stories but the more I look at it I really wouldn't mind losing some but not this one for one special reason...
See I keep most stories around because I want to explore certain themes which all could contraindic or take too long or other characters.
But for this story it's cuz... I feel quite proud of the villain I've been creating for this story.......it just kinda sucks this story probably won't get as much love as some of my others. You see for once I'm not using the actual shows main villain or creating a villain with pretty bland motivates like revenge or world domination which aren't bad if handled right but... The one I have planned for world dominantion can't really get a story presence because I'm writing from a first person perspective of (y/n)/ you. This villain wouldn't really work well in any other universe except if I created a completely original thing which I'm not confident enough to do yet or in rwby's story because well ...... Salem is practically the least interesting villain ever, she's so easy to completely cut out of a story because of how little she does, hell even in season 8 she did nothing noteworthy... Okay now I'm just shitting on rwby now, anyway yeah rwby is a great universe it just doesn't have a good story that explores that universe,which is actually why I'm excited for rwby Icequeendom I mean an 2d anime about Japan that's sounds awesome and it's mainly about the last member of team rwby I liked what more could I ask for.....
.... Ahem got of track there sorry, anyway the villain well a struggle for me was balancing them being somewhat funny but still a very real threat, what abilities this character would have, how would they interact with the cast and finally they're motivations which I won't spoil. And then there's the original themes I wanted to use in this story which I needed to find time to include them because we'll..... like all my stories the story always becomes way different than the original draft. I didn't even have a villain for the original story and I wasn't gonna include anything unique either which is why I'm somewhat glad I'm so slow at writing these things hahaha.
Anyway uh thanks for everyone's patience with me not just with this story but all of them.
