10- Past Mistakes.

"I do not!"

"She does."

"Lo!"

We were eating dinner when Ciel stated that he would stay for three days so that we could talk things out; I mean, it doesn't matter because he's already talking to me, but he insisted because he wanted to catch up on my life.

"Who is it?" Ciel asked while eating. 

"No-"

"Rhiley Kade." Lolo interrupted me.

I looked at Lolo with annoyance in my eyes but he just laughed.

"Why not, I'm not mad, go find love, you're the right age," Kuya said as he drank his water.

"No thanks, I don't want to hurt people any more," I said, laughing slightly before continuing to eat.

Ciel questioned, "Why do you think you can hurt someone by loving?" "Every love can be hurtful."

"I'm not healed by my past yet," I murmured, "and I don't want to be poisonous to my so-called partner; I don't want him to heal me." "Love is messy, but that's okay."

When I said I rose up and did my own dishes, there was silence.

I returned to my room, gathered my belongings, and placed them on my table.

My phone was still turned on! "Kade!" I called out, remembering he was still on the phone!

I grabbed up the phone and yelled his name, "Kade!" "Kade!"

"Hello?" said a female voice. I hurriedly hung up the phone, astonished. Is he dating someone? A sting ran through my chest. Khel will not fall... Avoid falling.

"Khel?"

I stared at him and said, "Kuya!" "Do you need anything in your rooms upstairs?"

He said nervously, "Hm... I know bub, do you want milk?"

I nodded and followed her down the stairs, where we both went outside to get milk and sit by the pool.

He smiled as he asked, "So... How's your life going? I missed out on a lot and I want to listen."

"Well, nothing exciting kuya, it's just a regular existence," I chuckled.

"So, who's Kade?" he asked as he sipped his milk.

"Kade is a friend of mine; we met about a month ago, I can't remember exactly when, but we're just friends," I explained.

"Then it's okay. I can't force you, but it is okay to love. " He nodded.

I nodded as well and finished my milk.

"I'm done! And I'm pretty tired! Good night!" I hugged kuya before running to bed.
