Closure + Ending Scenes!!

"Once you get healed up you are... somewhat allowed to live your life here. Once I had woken up and gone through this whole... healing process, everyone in the game goes outside and lives their lives basically? We're famous but we're allowed to do what we want. It's nice." He paused for a second, "It was a couple months later that I met... well Kyoko Kirigiri. I'm sure you should know of her from the... first game I believe."

"Kyoko? The people from the first game are still here?" You didn't... think that would be possible.

"Well yes, but they're quite normal too. Although also much older than they were in the games. Regardless- Kyoko also appears to have been someone like us, someone from the other universe, we swapped theories for awhile, and... we came to a theory that said that *many* people have come here, however, when one of those people stay they alter this universe." He glances down at you, "And you, (Y/N), have proved that theory."

"How did I do so....?"

"Well a year or so after that interaction with Kyoko, I ended up waking back up in the past, before my game, although.... I was directly given the role of the mastermind by the directors, and I knew exactly what would happen this time around, although I have a feeling that things only changed cause you were now a participant. Plus, no one else seems to remember *my* first game, the one before you were here, only I do." He shook his head a bit, looking almost regretful, but he continued.

"In any case, I'm technically in the past, living out a new version of events due to your new appearance in the game. The reason I think there were others is cause I can still remember the things I did after my game and recovery process, such as talking with Kyoko, meaning that there was definitely a gap between when I joined the game and when you did, in which, many people probably visited- but since none of them stayed I don't remember them, because their very existence was wiped. You get all of that?"

You groaned a bit. "Basically, because I stayed, I altered this world, if I hadn't stayed you would've continued living your regular life, and no one would remember me. Therefore if there were other people who came here none of them stayed because you don't remember them. Plus that whole thing about remembering your original timeline in this universe, means it definitely happened." You breathed out a sigh, "So basically because I stayed I fucked up your life and now you're a mastermind."

He paused for a bit, "Well. You aren't too bad (Y/N) and... being the mastermind well I get hate from the outside masses for awhile, plus the other participants will be wary but we treated Tsumugi pretty nicely after my game." He gave you a half smile, "But yeah basically. If you'd like we can talk to Kyoko soon after this... although I'm not sure if her memories remain the same or not...."

"So more questions about this whole thing huh? I wonder why it was this universe or...." You shook your head, you didn't want to question things about the universe, it would get quickly out of hand. All that mattered now is that you were here, and all your friends were alive... and speaking of... "Can... Can I see everyone?"

That made Shuichi smile a bit more, "They're all waiting outside the door. I wanted to talk with you alone under the guise of 'it's my responsibility as the mastermind to check up on you' to make you understand all of this, but you made a good impression in your game, they all want to see you."

Shuichi carefully stood up and went to open the door, and immediately the rest of your classmates flooded in. All of them looked well- except for a few of the people who lived to the end with you, they were seated in wheelchairs, looking a little more pale than the rest- but content nonetheless.

You glanced around, tearing up a bit, "You guys are all really alive...."

"Of course we are! It was all a game after all." Kokichi grinned, and various of the others said things similar. While the more calmer students tried to give you some space.

You continued glancing around, conversing with them a bit- you didn't have much strength in you but seeing the rest of your classmates, the rest of your friends made you filled with life. With happiness that you never found in your old reality. You left behind one world, and while you cared about that one and will miss many things about it... you were excited to continue on. Continue on with the people that you have a newfound fondness for, the people who truly made you feel alive.

You would never face another menu of options, and that was okay with you. You found where you belonged and it was in this life, in this universe, that you would continue on.

GOD. I didn't proof read most of this, and most of this was taken from what I wrote years ago (I polished some of the outline a little but definitely not the ending scenes. so sorry about that I have college work to do.) Please don't be too harsh haha...
