(I came up with this idea after imagining a teen and a dinosaur having each other as mentors. I had a dream of a high schooler dancing and involuntarily affecting another creature by having him dance and almost fall a cliff, then get mad at the boy. Seemed pretty funny and a cool concept in my mind)
Since birth, two souls were magically connected by a divide of 65 million years. Upon recognizing one another at the age of 4, a human and a dinosaur communicate feelings, thoughts, and dreams with one another, deeming each other as 'imaginary friends'. They grow alongside each other in different worlds, though trials and tribulations, ups and downs, and learn from one another to survive. Most things that happen in one world also happen in the other, tying their lives. But when an accident in the military forces the human to be a lone survivor, and a shooting star in the sky prompts fear into the dinosaur, their lives are tested on limited time. Each seek to get one home and another safe to avoid a grisly fate.
