Karan and Monami were at the restaurant, already. They were waiting for Aneesh to join them.

After a little while, when Aneesh didn't show up, Karan said...

Karan - Monami, kaha hai tumhara dost? Zara use call to karo.

Monami (Sweetly cupping his face) - Oho, mere punctual Commando...!!! Aa jayega vo. Darasal, vo yaha naya hai to use pata nahi hoge na yaha ke raste. Thoda aur wait kar lete hai, agar nahi aaya to main use call kar lugi.

Karan nodded his head but it was a kind of a nagging feeling and that's why, Karan was on a high alert. Monami can also see that and so, she also straighten herself for any kind of situation.

After a while, Aneesh entered inside the restaurant with a wounded and bandaged hand and came straight towards Karan and Monami's table.

Seeing him like this, they both got confused so, he said...

Aneesh - Mo it's me, Aneesh. Tum to mujhe bhul hi gayi ho bilkul...!!!

Monami got up and smiled at him. She said...

Monami - Are yaar, hum das saal baad mil rahe hai to obviously kuch to badlav hoga hi na...!!!

Logo ke behaviour tak ek din me badal sakte hai to pura ka pura insaan to das saal baad badla hua hi milega na...!!!

Aneesh smiled hesitantly but hugged her anyways.monami returned the hug. He said...

Aneesh - Are vo... accident ho gya tha mera. Bike se gir gya tha...!!!

Karan was feeling something off and ofcourse, a little jealous. He fake coughed, Monami and Aneesh looked at him and sat at their places. Monami took Karan's hand in hers and said...

Monami (Smiling at Karan) - Inse milo... Ye hai Special Agent Karan Shergill, (Looking at Aneesh) MERE PATI...!!!

Aneesh was shocked beyond anything. He said...

Aneesh (trying to fake excitement) - Mo, when did you get married...???!!!

Monami laughed listening this and Karan said...

Karan (Smirking) - Vaise to 5 years ho chuke hai humari shaadi ko but officially and legally abhi ek week pehle hi hui hai...!!!

Aneesh (Confusingly) - Matlab?

Monami - Matlab... main jab Parakram SAF me trainning le rahi thi, vahi isse mili thi. Karan mera trainner reh chuka hai aur fir humari dosti ho gayi thi. Ek mission ke doran humari shaadi mandir me karva di thi kuch gav ke logo ne but fir kuch hua tha ke jiski vajah se mujhe academy chhodkar jana pada.

Karan - Aur ab panch saal ke baad Monami vapas lauti hai yaha, fir se apni trainning puri karne. To humne socha ke panch saalo tak hum alag rahe the to ab hume legally bhi shaadi kar leni chahiye, to humne kar li...!!!

Aneesh (Confusingly) - But Mo... tumne to already Police Force join kar li thi na kyuki usike baad se humara koi constant connection nahi raha aur usse pehle bhi hum sirf phone pe hi baatein kiya karte the...!!!

Monami - You're right Aneesh but main vaha nahi reh pa rahi thi, Papa ke sath jo hua uske baad. Us incident ke baad, I was broken. Samajh nahi aa raha tha ke jau to kaha jau, fir jab Papa se kari hui baatein yaad aayi to socha ke yahi vapas aakar apni trainning continue karna hi behtar hoga.

Karan was continuously looking at her and he held her hand tightly. Aneesh was looking at their hands only but he couldn't do anything about this as they are married now but he wasn't happy about it. He smiled sarcastically and Monami saw that. She asked...

Monami (Confusingly) - Kya hua, Aneesh? Tum aise kyu has rahe ho?

Aneesh (Changing his expressions) - Nahi bas, Mahajan uncle ki baat yaad aa gayi. Tumhe yaad hai, vo kaha karte the ke vo humari shaadi karvayege...!!!

Karan stiffened as he has understood something about Aneesh till now and he was getting angry because of that. He was going to retort but Monami said...

Monami - Tab hum bache the Aneesh aur Papa ki soch bhi kafi alag thi tab. Tab aur aaj me bahot fark hai, Aneesh...!!!

Aneesh (Faltering a little) - I know, Mo. Main to bas yaad kar raha tha unki baatein.

Monami just smiled plainly and said...

Monami - Main aati hu abhi, tab tak tum log kuch order karo aur ha Karan, meri ek cold coffee bhi order kar dena please...!!!

Karan nodded his head and Monami left from there. Aneesh said...

Aneesh (Smirking) - Tum to kafi lucky ho, Karan... I hope, I can address you by your name...???

Karan (Smiling a little) - Ofcourse, you can Aneesh and yes, I'm lucky to have such a beautiful, well capable and mature woman as my wife...!!!

Aneesh - Yes but you're also lucky to have her property as she was an only child so, after Mahajan Uncle's death, it's all Mo's and now, yours...

Karan understood his meaning well so, he said...

Karan (Straightaway) - Tum ameero ki soch bas yahi tak hoti hai na... It's not surprising at all for me...!!!

Tum jaise logo ko, main apna relationship samjhana, explain karna zaroori nahi samajhta. Tumse milte hi main samajh gya tha ke tum jitne sidhe bante ho na, utne asal me ho nahi.

Aneesh was going to say something but stopped and then said...

Aneesh (Innocently) - Tum mujhse aise kyu baat kar rahe ho, Karan? Monami dost hai meri. I'm just a little concerned about her and that's it. Tumhe aisa sochna bhi nahi chahiye ke humare bich kuch hoga, biwi hai vo tumhari, thoda to bharosa kar lete uspe, Karan...!!!

Aneesh (Faking innocence) - Mo, maine bas as a concerned friend, Karan se baat ki thi magar ye to gussa hi ho gya...!!!

Monami - Tumne aisa kya bola par?

Karan (Cupping her face) - Tum apne dost se baat karo, main bahar hi tumhara wait karta hu.

Monami nodded and Karan left from there. Monami turned towards Aneesh and said...

Monami (With a smile) - Betho na.

Aneesh sat in front of her and Monami said...

Monami (With a straight face) - Look, Aneesh... tum mere dost ho, bas itna hi rishta hai humara aur itna hi rahega. Galatfehmi aur galat ummiden, dono hi nahi palte hai. Meri shaadi Karan se ho chuki hai aur uski neev pyaar hai, bharosa hai, understanding hai aur kahi na kahi, apne desh ko lekar, iski safety ko lekar humare jo thoughts hai, vo bhi ek reason hai, humare sath hone ka.

Main bahot hi ache se janti hu ke tum mujhe pasand karte ho, mujhe dost se zyada banana chahte ho but aisa kabhi nahi hoga. Juthi ummiden mat rakho, bahot dard hoga, unke tutne par.

Main ab chalti hu, mere husband bahar mera wait kar rahe hai and I hope ke tum baat ko thik se samajh jao. Varna tum jante ho ke mera ye, logo ko samjhane ka, special department hai. Vo main tumhare sath use nahi karna chahti. Good bye, Aneesh.

And she left from there without even listening him. Aneesh just stared at her in a surprise. He knew that he can't manipulate her about anything and especially Karan, her husband...
