Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. All characters and events in this story are entirely fictional. Any similarities to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Furthermore, the characters have one or more flaws of their own. I like to give them flaws as it makes them appear more human. 'Walang taong perpekto' sabi nga nila.

Some scenes may be inaccurate as I'm not knowledgeable with some of it, especially the jobs. Purely basing it from movies I watched or my instincts.

It is advised to heed the warning if there is one before the chapter is started.

I settle down on one of the many vacant chairs inside the room, wrapping my coat tighter as a cold wind passes by.

Inangat ko sleeve ng coat ko and look at the time, "I'm an early bird I guess" I mumble to myself.

Not even a minute passes by when I hear the door open, I immediately stand from my seat ready to greet the marketing executive assigned to me pero nawala kaagad ngiti ko nang makita ko mukha niya, "Keene?!"

After hearing his name, napatingin siya sa akin not even shocked in the slightest. A stoic face like back then.

"Oh Ms. Dilamis," He nodded in my direction, setting down his laptop on top of the table and proceeding to set up everything needed for the meeting.

'This can't be happening' I thought to myself habang tinitignan siya na parang multo.

[ Jayce should have known. He knows better than this... ]

"Shall we start, Ms. Dilamis?" Keene said while holding the presentation remote.

I stay frozen in place, still in shock. "Ms. Dilamis?" startled by his voice napaiwas ako ng tingin sabay tango, "You may proceed, Kee—" I cover up my mistake with a fake cough at umupo sa upuan, "Mr. Moriarty."
