The Butler: House of Snakes
Prelude
Gerald Carmichael

There have been many events in my life but nothing compares to the ones after my death.

For you see all my existence I've been trained and beaten the ways of the butler. I have gained the education in the utmost spectacles of society's rich folk.

Why am I in Hell you may ask? The old saying 'The Butler did it.' Is not as far-fetched as you might think.
For you see the last master I had when alive ordered me to slain my family so as not to blackmail me. Little did I realise that I was being blackmailed, to begin with as I was nothing but a mere puppet for his ghastly sadistic habits.

In my time in Hell, I've lost four masters but my fifth is somebody I will not only cherish for all eternity but also protect with my heart, soul and every fibre of my afterlife essence.

Why? You ask because I am a Butler in love with his master.

Allow me to tell you the story of how I came to serve the Zinna family and the journey we've had together.

Let us start at the beginning, with my previous master and mistress, Lady Pendragon and Sir Pentious.
