He got in the seat and I started the engine, heading out.
"You have a particular place in mind?" He asked putting on the seat belt
"Hmm, well not really. Let's go to town though, we might find some restaurants there" I said turning right.
"Restaurants? Why-"
"I'm hungry." I said, he remained silent for a while after that

"Didn't actually expect you to tag along" I chuckled
"Neither did I" I said scoffing
"ehh? what changed your mind?" I asked
"I didn't have anything to do, or anywhere to go" He said looking at me now
"Yeah? Well then, if your really that free.... we might as well hit some arcades" I suggested
"No. People, germs don't get me started" He rolled his eyes
"I have a box full of gloves in the back seat, feel free." I said smirking
"You do?" he asked turning around to find the box
"Yeah, it's decided then!" I smiled
"No- it doesn't make a difference" He said
"It does, now don't be shy, I even have a sanitizer in my, what I considered useless, pouch" I said much to his dismay
"Why do you seem so prepared?" he asked
"Coincidences are scary" I said

We got down on a small restaurant and ordered noodles
"You come here often?" He asked lowering his mask
"No, first time" I said
"I see, not bad." he remarked
"Not bad?" I asked confused
"It's clean and maintained, good choice." He said
"heh, I don't know how to respond to that" I sighed taking my chopsticks
"Not everything needs a response," He said eating out of his cup.
"I guess" I thought on it a minute

"So, what do you plan on doing after?" I asked
"After?" He looked confused
"Like, after high school." I sighed
"Volley." He answered not looking up
"Seems you're quite serious about it huh..." I said placing down my cup
"What about you?" He raised one of his brows in question
"your wife~" I shot him a wink
"Guess you'll be unsuccessful in life then." He smirked
"Heh, trust me I'll be the most successful person in this room!" I boasted "I'm willing to bet my husband on it!" I smirked as well

"I see what you did there," He chuckled.
"Yeah?" I rolled my eyes

"Let's get going then!" I said noticing he finished his cup
"Arcade, huh? Haven't been there in a long time, last time I did, was the by product of a bet I lost" He said scrunching his nose in memory
"I'll bet it was atsumu" I said laughing a little
"Yep." He sighed
"that's my baby" I smiled

We drove over to the complex, and parked before getting out.
"Let's go there first!" I said tapping his shoulders and pointing to a drinks counter.
He nodded, and walked over.
"I'd like that one!" I said pointing over the drink in the menu sakusa declined the offer, ah well....
"Let's play the hoop one! You play volley, you should be able to get a few!" I encouraged
"Volley ball and basketball are two different things" He sighed
"Ehh, it both has a ball in it, so it shouldn't make a difference!" I smiled happily putting in two coins and the gate thing let open the basketballs.
I took one, and shot, missed.
I held out the ball to sakusa "Go on, don't be shy now~" I smirked
He took the ball and shot. And it went around the hoop a round before going in.
"Hey!! Lucky!!" I smiled
"Hm," he smirked and took another one
It went in perfectly!
"Sakusa!! You're good!" I smiled taking the ball that rolled down
"Watch me now!" I said proudly but missed
"What were you saying?" He asked teasingly
"Wait you little - I'll get this one for sure!" I said under my breath, and shot.

It went round the hoop once
and into the basket!!!!

"I told you!! The first one was just a trial!" I said nodding
"Sure it was," He rolled his eyes and shot another
"You're like... really lucky" I said, not accepting defeat
"And apparently you're not" He rolled his eyes at my childishness

We got quite the few points from that, "hey hey! let's go there!" i said heading over to the claw machine one
"Hm... I'll get this one for you, sakusa!" I said pointing toward a pink bunny plush
"What- No- I'd much rather not have that anywhere near me" He protested
"you'll learn to love it as time passes" I smiled getting the claw on the plush and lifting it up.
"yes! See! this is fated! Sakusa! You must simply accept this! This plush! it is much more lovable than you think!" i said holding up the bunny.
I swear I saw a smile, i fucking swear. Which made me gasp.
"Sakusa! I said quite loudly
"What." he asked
"You look pretty when you smile, you should do that more often" I laughed

  ~ Remember :)? ~

"You- ugh never mind" He said fixing his mask "Are you done here? Do you want to go any where else?" He asked
"Well, yes, actually!" I smiled
"Then let's just get this over with" He sighed
"Here I expected you to be more nice after all this! Ah sakusa kun, you might prove to be more harder than keiji!" I complained jokingly
"I don't think you'll need to have hopes like that," He said opening the door outside
"Are you saying you'll accept me faster?" I asked raising my brow
"No, i mean, there's no hope at all." He rolled his eyes
"Ah same old, same old" I sighed getting out the keys to my car,
I got in and so did sakusa.

"And? where are we going?" He asked looking dead into the eyes of the poor pink bunny
"A park!" I cheered
"What?!" He said, now turning his head toward me
"Hmm, I doubt any ones gonna be there though! I just need a small favor, that's all" I smiled
"I'm not going to do any thing that -"
"I won't have you touch the instruments." I sighed and parked

"Get down, if you don't want to, naturally you could decline." I said chuckling and holding out the door
He got down and he headed to the swing area.
I sat on the slightly taller one
"Push me..." I said looking up

"Push you?" he asked confused "I know you're comparatively short, but you should be  able to go for ward and backward yourself." He said
"I know, I can" I rolled my eyes "It's for nostalgia" I said laughing
"You're lucky I'm in a good mood" he said before slowly pushing me after disposing of his gloves
"I guess so..." I smiled
"You...." Sakusa was never one for small talk. And he knew that there really was no need for it reading the situation at hand
"Have you been here before?" But he couldn't help it when he saw such sad eyes
"Yeah, when I was a kid, with the others... By others I mean mainly keiji and kou" I sighed
"Who else" He asked pushing again
"atsumu and osamu" I smiled thinking back "There's more to this place to me than that though!" I smiled
'figured' he thought

"I started liking keiji around when I was, what? 8 years old? yeah yeah, around then, but of course, he only saw me a friend and I ended up getting rejected each and every time!" I laughed "But I asked him every time, to push me in the swing, and he never declined!" I thought back to how stupid the whole thing was, but it was sweet in a way... I mean, an eight year old doesn't know much drama to throw a scene and get depressed, and she liked to swing in  the swing! And it made things less awkward to be completely honest.
Thinking back the conversations used to go something like this:

"You're my friend, y/n." He said
"A-ah! Yeah, that's right... haha, I knew you'd say something like that" I sighed
It was awkward, bokuto was unusually late and we had no choice but to stare at eachother.
"Keiji- kun, if.... if it's ok with you, can.. you push me on the swing?" I asked and he simply nodded. Both of us wrapped around in scarfs for winter, the birds didn't seem to mind the screeching of metal as the swing swung and continued singing.
Every time after that, it was more or less the same.

"Is.... that your way of coping-?" he asked confused
"Coping? No I wouldn't necessarily say that" I sighed and laughed
"It was hope, I though maybe one day, as long as we're friends we could .. you know.." i trailed off then. "But I stopped asking him at some point, and I was just... there; liking him. And he'd be disappointed and I'd be discouraged. But for what ever stupid reason, I never really got over him. I wasted all potential boy friends!" I said as a joke
"Yeah, dumb move." He smirked
"Hey! it's eight years! I can get it back in no time" I said determined
"You're too optimistic" He said
"And you're too pessimistic! We balance each other out perfectly! We should go out some time!" I grinned
"we are out" He said
"I mean on a date!" I said happily
"No."
