Cassie's POV

He didnt really say anything to me after I told him it was Aiden. He just continued to look at me and process the fact that whatever he did or didnt do, he was here now and he wanted some kind of revenge. I wasnt sure if it was on me or Sirius but no matter how you look at it, its my family and I am already in the middle of it all.

I put my hand on his shoulder as his eyes finally connected with mine. As much as I was angry, I was already soaked in the rain that was pouring down on the both of us. He nodded to me as he turned back around and continued to lead me to whereever Severus was.

I followed behind him now feeling the sudden nerves of seeing him. Not to mention that I wasnt even sure if he would still see me the way he use too. The memories I had of him he looked at me with no care of the outside world, but it was all different now. I made it different and I wasnt sure if I could even get it all back. I mean, I know him and I feel it, but im still altered. My memories are still the same, but I have filled in the blanks that surrounded him.

He was my partner. He was my lover. He was my everything. One thing changed it. In the muggle world I always heard people say that 'what comes around goes around' but he wasnt that person. He wasnt going to just come back around after everything. He had every right to tell me that it was to much and I couldnt blame him. However, he also has the right to here me tell him how sorry I am. The last thing I can tell him is that, and then I will be on my way, even if that is without him.

Remus stopped infront of a door knocking before looking around him to make sure that no one was watching us. I hated the thought that I always had someone watching my every move, but it also upset me at the fact that I was dumb enough to believe that I was alone. Remus grabbed my arm pulling me inside the small house. The warmth quickly began to heat up my body as Remus took off my wet jacket.

"Kreacher will take your coat Master Remus," I heard a voice say behind me.

My eyes widened as I looked to see Kreacher putting them away in the closet behind us. My eyes began to water as I looked at my house elf, I had wondered for weeks of him, called to him, and nothing. Now he stood in front of me, and I had no words but tears. I dropped to my knees bringing his small body into my embrace. I could feel him tense instantly to which I let him go, as he stared at my face, his small hand came up to me, wiping away my tear before looking behind me.

"Im so glad you are okay, Kreacher," I said to him as he still didnt make no eye contact with me.

I followed Kreachers eyes to see a tall frame frozen on the corner of the door. He stood there locking his eyes with me, his black hair laid against his black cloak, and the same feeling I felt in my memories began to show again. He was as handsome as ever, and to what I could see, he was shocked to see me.

I stood to my feet but he said nothing as his eyes followed my every move.

"Severus, she took a memory potion," Remus said as Severus looked to him and back to me.

He began to say something but he quickly stopped himself. He didnt seem like he could form a word, but I stayed in place. He reached his hand out to me with a pleading face but I didnt accept it. I shook my head and his hand, I didnt say anything else as I wrapped my arms around his tall frame. I began to squeeze him like I should have back in Madam Pomfreys, my face in the crook of his neck. It wasnt until I relaxed that I could feel his arms around me as well with his hand stroking the back on my head.

I wasnt sure what it all meant, but this... being in his arms. It felt safe. It felt right. I went to let go but he still didnt release his grips on my body. He held on to me as if in the next second I was going to lose it all again. I felt him take a quick breath before he set me back on the ground. I turned around keeping myself close to him as Remus stared at the both of us.
