I grabbed the duvet that was tossed at the side of the bed and I put it on top of both of us

That threat worked and she didn't hesitate to give me where her location was, I gave both of them a request that they should not leave Angel's side until I arrive
Now that everyone is here I told them what they will do tomorrow, I ordered Wyett before that he should pretend that Mira told him about Angel's identity so he could get close to her and she will have to open up without living in her fake name
"I get that you want to get her back but can you at least say which hotel we are staying for tonight" I turned my head to see that it was Liam who complained to me

The 2 vans that we rented out came to the front of the station and we all boarded in, I helped out in carrying the bags, and onwards we went to the hotel
It was the festival and that Elliot fucker's concert so all of the hotels here were all booked, luckily we used our family's connections and we were able to find a place that can accommodate us all
When we finally reached the hotel all of us are now getting ready to sleep Except for me
Without Angel beside me, I couldn't get even a good night's rest. The only sleep I could muster up only lasted 1 or 2 hours
"So is she sleeping already?" I asked him as I put down Bun-bun down, I just used the name Bun-bun as a temporary name since Angel will be the one who will name the bunny properly If there is one fact about me, I'm bad at naming things
Even my own family agrees with me when I say I suck in naming pets
Wyett nodded "She slept at 11:54 PM after her piano practice" Good she's gonna need a lot of energy tomorrow
A small smile crept up on my face I'll be able to see her perform
"Did that guy try to make a move on her?" With me out of the picture I know he will try having her all by himself
If he wasn't such a sore loser back when we were little then maybe this all could've been avoided, I won that deal fair and square, and yet he still won't admit it
He hesitantly said "Yes, they were actually going out when I arrived but I heard from Penelope that she ended it"
A sigh of relief escaped my lips I still have a chance
"You may go now" I told him and he gave me a small node before leaving my room
My eyes looked out of the window where there were bright lights from the festival and tourists were still walking around late at night

As days go by without her beside me I feel like I am almost forgetting her but thankfully I made a lot of sketches and put up her pictures everywhere, the t-shirt that I stile right in front of her is now a pillowcase back at home My coping mechanism is weird but it's the best I can do so I could muster up some sleep
She wasn't only my Pillow Buddy but I consider her as my real girlfriend
But since Angel was adorably oblivious it got to this situation Well, I am at fault too since I couldn't confess to her when I had many chances
I looked down at her recent picture "You've changed your appearance, the you before was way prettier but of course, you're still pretty like that too" I smiled She must have longingly wanted to be called pretty but I didn't give it to her, I'm such a douche
Her insecurities grew every day when she spends time with me and her family that it started to be the very core as to why she ran away, my hand went to rub my temple
I heard a knock at my door and I answered it, Nick and Nikki we're outside if the door with a lot of food in their hands
"The locals told us that they were giving out free food so we went there to get some" Nick handed me a paper bag before he sat down on the chair beside the window
Nikki started to eat the Shawarma rice "So Mr. Prideful, are you gonna confess to your girlfriend or are we gonna have to go through this stupid cycle again?" She asked me These 2 already knew about my feelings for Angel
"I'm worried she won't accept me"
"If you don't confess now then when? Until we turn gray and old? Just confess, if she rejected you that's it, at least you tried!" Nick stood up and told me with an annoyed face
"Penelope wouldn't be running away like this if she didn't like you, she stayed to be there for you and she even took the liberty to keep your secret safe! IF THAT'S NOT LOVE I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS!" He yelled at the last part
As my best friend who saw my lowest, he knew how much I have suffered from my Insomnia and those damn nightmares. He has had enough of just watching me suffer
"I hate watching you like this Cloud, we want you to finally be happy and I'm not gonna stand by and watch it all go down if you're just going to be a coward"
Coward? So all this time I was a coward
I chuckled as I have realized what I'd been for a long time Looks like I'm going to confess whether she likes it or not
