One|| "What the hell hope"

Hope POV

After I dropped maya off I had met up with my cousin.

"What the hell hope?" My cousin says as she pushed the door open to let me in.

"I was out at mayas" I said

"We need to talk about what you confessed yesterday" she says

"How about we talk about this girlfriend that I didn't know about." I said

"What?" she asked

"Well I found out from some person I just met today that you are dating someone" I said

"Okay, but I told you that I was dating Lizzie for the longest you just never listen" she says

"Are you sure you told me?" I asked

"I'm positive" she says

"Whatever." I said as I walked into the kitchen.

"I have someone that can help you out with your murder problem" she says

"I don't need help" I said

"What?" She asked

"I don't need help. I'm fine." I said

"You need it more than I thought. My girlfriend dad can help with this but you have to promise not to mention any of this to my girlfriend" cece says

"What? Why can't we just hire a pi to do this?" I asked

"Because the more people involved the more witnesses and the more evidence there is to get you in trouble" she says

"Fair point." I said as I grabbed a drink from the fridge.

"We have to go there before this case gets worse than it is" she says

"I'll go when I go" I said

"Hope." She pledged.

"Fine." I said

When we arrived it was like the coolest house I've ever seen.

Well the second coolest, the first being my house.

"This shit is dope" I said

"That's what comes in handy when you have a rich girlfriend. At least I know she's not using me for my money" cece says

I just rolled my eyes.

I love that my younger cousin is seeing someone but the problem with that is the father of her girlfriend is probably dangerous.

We knocked on the door.

"What are you doing here babe?" Some blonde says as she answered the door.

Cece got a little nervous.

"I'm here to talk with your dad" she says

"About what?" The blonde asked

"About some work stuff. But after I'm done I can spend the rest of my time with you my sweet" she says

I almost puked in my mouth.

"Later" I said before walking in.

I mean, I basically own everything in this town.

"You must be Hope" some lady says

"And you are?" I asked

"I work for mr. Saltzman, he's in his office with his daughter so you might want to hurry up with the whole getting yourself ready." The lady says
