"Right now, I think wala, but there's this normal name around. Hayley Lynn Xena, you know her name, right?!" Lumabas bigla ang energetic side ni Thea. "She's just Hayley, no nickname! Ang cool niya, diba?! You should know her, Jane!"
"Okay, kalma, kalma. Bago pa lang ako sa code names, I think 'yung mga may issue muna ang uunahin kong alamin."
"Don't worry, Ja-ne! I'll let you meet all my friends." Kuminang ng husto ang mata ni Kelly. "Just ask me and I'll tell you what you want to know about them."
"I'll leave you two. I think kailangan ninyong mag-usap about sa circle of friends ninyo at enemies." May ngiwing ngiti itong umalis.
Thea's P.O.V.
"Are you going to have lunch with us?" Asked by one of my friends.
"Hindi na muna. I have to go home pa kasi."
I smiled at them. They didn't said anything, inintay lang nila ang other friends namin. And I'm here, pretending to be busy with my phone. I'm usually like this whenever I'm waiting for my driver to pick me up, but that's not my case right now. I'm only doing this para hindi na sila magtanong.
Ever since they asked me to buy that make-up and found out that they're only pranking me, hindi na ako sumasabay kanila. I'm also distant because I know I'm always been different to them.
My friends always have their own plans. Minsan hindi nila ako sinasama, but when it comes to doing something they think funny, ako lagi ang pinagagawa nila. They scared me not to be part of the group if I didn't do whatever they like. Like the make-up thing, they want me to buy it, saying that it's for the group daw—to make me one of them—but that's not the reality. I know that for facts. I'm just too scared that they'll hate me.
I have known that they're different from me for a long time, but denies it. I also know that they're too active and hyper girls than I am, and being not one of them leaves me behind. Sometimes, being different is good, but in most of the time, difference makes segregation. I know that now.
When Jane helped me kahit na hindi direct at kahit na sa simple advise lang, I have woken up. If she didn't warn me that day, I might be on my worst form of myself now. Baka nasa kahihiyanan ako ngayon. Yeah, my image is big deal for me. I protect it so much but almost ruin it. That's a very bad feeling.
Knowing that I didn't even bother to help Jane back then sa parking lot, and yet she did a huge favor sa akin. Right now, I'm looking at that bright side. I'm hoping that I could find a better person or friends who I can be with just who I am.
"Where's Mel? Is she having lunch with us?"
"No, she's going after the nerd. Pin told me na kakausapin daw ni Mel siya."
"Really?!" My friend gapsed before laughing. "She's gonna do something bad! Ang tagal na niyang sinasabi iyun."
"I know. I totally thought she's kidding but not now."
"Malalim ang galit ni Mel sa kaniya ah. Oh no, poor nerd! Hahaha, I'm sure Mel will teach her a lesson."
That caught my attention. We don't say those words if no fight will happen!
