However, the miracle was cut short when Fluttershy noticed the clock was nearing midnight and rushed out of the ball. She, Discord, Rainbow, and Twilight had planned what happened next. She galloped out of the palace and ¨acedentily lost one of her 4 glass horse shoes. Twilight had enough magic for the horse shoes to remain intact and then it would be simple. Everything seemed to go as planned until the next morning. Discord had declared he would marry the pony whose hoof fit the glass horseshoe, but everything went down the drain when Adagio found out about Fluttershy's plan. She whipped the pegasus filly and then locked her in the attic. The CMCs managed to escape before they could be locked up too, and struggled to think of a plan, while a sad pegasus languished in her attic, wondering how everything could have gone so wrong.

Fluttershy: I've always dreamed

Like a fairy tale

A perfect fantasy

Everyday a new adventure

On some undiscovered shore

Discord and Rainbow arrived at the house and Discord could see that his sister never wanted to go here again. He placed a claw on her shoulder as the pegasus knocked on the door. Adagio opened the door and was exeedingly suprised to see the king with her step daughter she had thought was dead. Rainbow was full of bravado, but seeing that woman that had abused her for so many years stripped it away. Discord was now furious and demanded of the woman, ¨WHERE IS FLUTTERSHY AND THE OTHER FILLIES YOU HELD CAPTIVE IN THIS HOUSE!? A bewildered Adagio was about to speak when Fluttershy and the CMCs came running over to the door, all of them sporting bruises, which made discord scowl at Adagio all the more. Fluttershy trotted over  and tried the shoe on, the glass horse shoe easily slipping onto her hoof. She then revealed the other 3 horseshoes she had been hiding until that point, making Rainbow guffaw, and Twilight teleported in at the very last minute and this time changed Fluttershy's rags into a beautiful green nature themed gown, though this time it would not wear off at midnight or noon. The three vile mares were imprisoned in the dungon, and Fluttershy and the CMCs moved to the palace with Rainbow and Discord, and Fluttercord eventually got married. Twilight returned to her own kingdom, but she visited often and remained good friends with the royal family of equestria.
