This is defiantly not worse.

"Hello Maria," I replied.

"Hi." Logan quietly greeted.

"Hey, Logi." I smiled, genuinely happy to see her.

She's probably confused about earlier...

"Aren't you two watching the film?" I questioned.

"What film?" Logan said, puzzled.

"They're doing a movie night in the hall for your year," I replied.

"That sounds boring,"

Typical Logan.

"Yeah, we'd rather chill out with you Miss," Maria said sheepishly.

Maria really doesn't bother hiding it does she?

"I mean she's not wrong," Logi added, making me blush.

I would say I'm surprised Logan came along but then I remember she gets almost as protective as I do.

It shows a lot. Especially right now seeing as she purposely gave Maria the chair so she could sit on my desk.

God, she looks hot sitting on my desk...

"I'll be back in a minute." Maria stood up and left the room leaving Logan and me alone.

"So, why were you acting weird earlier?" She asked, leaning towards me.

"I wasn't acting weird," I said, pretending to be confused.

I know full well I was being really odd.

"Yeah you were, it's whenever you're around that woman."

I shuffled uncomfortably in my seat, "Oh... Uh, no reason."

I hate lying to her...

"What are you not telling me?"

I sighed, "I'm not keeping anything from you... I just don't know how to tell you."

"Just tell me, Peggy." She said softly.

"I..."

The door opened and Maria came back in. I have never been so relieved in my life.

"What'd I miss?" She smiled.

Oh, just me nearly fucking up my potential future with Logan.

"Nothing much." We said in unison.

Maria looked at us like we had been turned into giant carrots.

"I'm going for a walk, I'll be back in a few," Logan said bluntly.

I lightly placed my hand on her arm, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah just wanna stretch my legs." She smiled.

"Alright, come back soon," I said, returning her smile.

As soon as the door closed, Maria stood up and walked over to me.

Here we go...

"So Miss. What is your first name?" She asked, fiddling with some stuff on my desk.

"That's for me to know and you to, well not." I shrugged.

She sighed, "I know Logan is your favourite and all, but what has she really got on me?"

Uh, everything.

"I don't have favourites," I replied, trying not to sound angry.

She turned her attention to my arm that was resting on my desk, running her finger down to my hand.

"Well, I could be your favourite."

I swear to god I nearly gagged.

"Maria, that is highly inappropriate please remove your hand from my arm and leave my office now," I said, trying my best not to stick my foot up her arse.

She removed her hand and took the tiniest step back. "Come on Miss, why not? It's just a bit of fun."

"Maria I am not going to tell you again." I snapped.

"Whatever." She scoffed, grabbing her stuff and leaving my office.

She attempted to slam the door but the wind it created made it close really quietly. It was quite funny actually.

I'd better not tell Logan about this...

Speak of the devil.

Logan rushed inside, closing the door behind her and pulling the blind over the window and locking the door.

What in the world is she doing?

"Where'd Maria go?" She whispered.

"She was flirting with me so I kicked her out." I shrugged, "What got you so spooked?" I whispered back.

"That woman just came up to me and called me Logi." She said in a low tone.

She looked absolutely terrified.

I fucking hate Angela. First, she threatens me, then she threatens Logan? She's got some nerve.

"She thinks she knows everything." I hissed.

"What are we gonna do?"

Well, I can't tell her now can I.

"I've sorted something out," I replied bluntly.

"Right... What is it?"

"Nothing it's fine." I retorted.

"Okay..."

I sighed, "You should probably go."

"Uh... Okay then." She said, confused. "I'll see you Monday?" She asked.

"Maybe," I replied blank-faced, pretending to do some work.

"Alright then." She said, picking up her backpack and leaving my office.

I can't do it...

I can't tell her...

But I have to.

I have to tell her I'm leaving.
