Theo started to jog over, "You won't believe what happened," He called to her, as he approached her porch.

He was now soaked as well, "What happened?" She asked as he walked past her through the door. Theo took off his soaked jacket, throwing it over his arm. The two were yelling over the pounding rain.

He looked at how she was covered in dirt, with grass stains on her pink top, "What happened to you?" He frowned noticing she was soaked.

She looked down at herself, "I fell trying to jump the back fence," Theo raised his eyebrows and chuckled in disbelief, "I will never know how you do it that fast."

Theo fished through his pockets, "Because I actively hop fences," He noted dully. He looked up at Valerie and sighed, "I gotta grab another smoke."

"You're seventeen," Valerie crossed her arms, "You're going to have lung cancer by the time we're thirty."

Theo pulled back on his soaked jacket, "Yeah, yeah," He waved her off as he opened the flapping porch door, "I'll tell you what happened later."

Valerie sighed, picking her umbrella back up, "Actually, I'm curious," He smirked as the two struggled to fit under one umbrella.

The sound of the music going even louder made Valerie open her window, trying to drown out the rock music.

"Do you really need it this loud?" Skylar leaned forward, in between the two front seat - screaming.

Theo turned the radio up to the max volume out of spite and glanced at Skylar, "I'm beggin', beggin' you!" He sang loudly as he tapped the steering wheel with the same rhythm.

"I hate you!" Skylar scream sang, matching his intensity. Valerie held her head, knowing this drive was going to feel ten times longer than it should be.

The two cars pulled into a rest stop because Remi had to pee. The group took the opportunity to get snacks at the vending machines and a few drinks.

"Really Remi?" Skylar sighed as he came out of the bathroom, "It's a three hour drive."

He rolled his eyes, "And?"

"And you couldn't have held it?"

"You could have cleaned my piss off the backseat of Milo's Tin can of death," Remi told Skylar, with a slight laugh, "It literally sounds like it's going to explode," He leaned into her and whispers red, "Talk to him, please for the sake of our lives."

Skylar scoffed and shoved him away playfully, "Shut up," Remi held his hands up in defense before walking off to Milo's car.

Milo Demse, known as the up and coming sophomore jock. Being the kicker for their high school football team, got him a lot of attention. Skylar, being a sophomore cheerleader, found Milo pretty easily. Milo and Skylar had got together during Freshmen tryouts.

Milo becoming best friends with Theo, was a mystery to everyone. Sure, everyone was in the same friend group, but one day Milo and Theo began talking and hanging out more than the rest of the group. Milo and Theo considered themselves 'boys'. Somehow, a bond that was now un-breakable, that Milo could be a blubbering idiot and Theo would still be there.
