"What?"
I laughed a little while he stood up, holding his hand out "come on. It's cold as hell out here"
I grabbed his hand and he helped me up before we headed into the house. Once we got upstairs, surprisingly he let me come and sleep in the room with him so I did
"Ight now, don't piss in my damn bed" Kyran told me and I laughed
"Don't play. I don't pee in the bed"
"Ight now" Kyran said as we both laid down
Once I got comfortable enough I closed my eyes but still couldn't fall asleep so I just laid there in the silent darkness until eventually I could finally fall asleep
8:12 am
Waking up, I realized Kyran wasn't in his bed nomore but his phone was on the bed beside me so I clicked on the screen. Even I checked the time I jumped up realizing I overslept mad late
"Shit!" I cursed, leaving his room and I could hear talking and laughing from downstairs so I went and ended up in the kitchen seeing my parents along with Kyran
"Ma delete that picture" Kyran was telling her as she and my daddy laughed. She smiled while looking at her phone
"No. It's cute. I gotta picture just like this when y'all were like two years old and y'all were in the bed sleep together"
They all then looked at me and both of my parents frowned their face up
"Oooh babygirl... your brother wasn't lying. You are sick" my momma said as I was about to go to the fridge and my daddy, who was standing near it moved over some while grabbing the Lysol off of the counter and sprayed it near me
"Really daddy?"
"I love you but shit. I ain getting sick"
"You look so drained and your eyes all puffy, go back to bed. Kyran said he was gonna look after you today" my momma told me. I looked over at Kyran and he just ignored us, eating cereal
My parents then started grabbing their stuff to leave
"Y'all about to go?"
"Yeah. We'll be home around six or six thirty. Your sister got dance practice today. Kinsley get some sleep and Kyran make sure your other half is good" my momma said as my daddy followed her and they left. Once they were gone Kyran picked up his bowl and looked at me
"You look bad" he rudely told me before leaving the kitchen
"Jeremiah said he stable" he also added, going up the stairs
I let out the biggest sigh of relief, dropping my head as I leaned forward on one of the counters thanking God in my head

"Shut up and stop" I hit Jeremiah as we headed into the house, coming to bring Kyran and kinsley their work from school
"Thing 1 and thing 2. Where y'all at?" Jeremiah yelled through the house and I heard noise coming from the living room so I walked in there with the papers in my hand while Jeremiah followed
Kyran sat on the chair drinking from a cup as he watched tv
"I thought you were supposed to bed watching kinsley" I asked, crossing my arms
"That girl 18, not 8. And she upstairs in her room"
"Word, I'm bout to go bother her real quick" Jeremiah said as he left the living room leaving me and Kyran alone. He patted the seat next to him
"Come sit down"
"I'm not staying long because some of us still gotta go to work"
"That don't mean you can't still sit real quick"
I rolled my eyes, going to sit beside him and he threw his arm across the back of the couch looking at me
"What?"
"I missed you"
I can't believe it, but I actually found myself smiling
"Did you really Kyran?"
He nodded, sitting his soda down "I did"
"Well I missed y'all too"
"Don't say y'all cause we ain talkin bout kinsley right now"
"Really?"
"Yeah really"
I huffed "well I guess I missed you too"
"We don't guess round here"
"Fine.. I missed you"
Kyran smiled, showing off his beautiful teeth. Then looked at the tv for a second before looking at me again
"What you doing Saturday?"
"I'm gonna be with somebody"
He rose his eyebrow "who?"
"Does it matter?"
"Yeah. Now tell me"
"I don't have to explain nothing to you"
Kyran didn't say anything. Instead he just gave me a look and I tried to ignore it but eventually I just gave in
"Chill out. It's just Jr. he'll be home tomorrow until next week and he said he'll spend the day with me Saturday"
"Oh, I was bout to say"
"Say what?"
"Don't worry bout it"
"Yeah okay Kyran" I laughed a little, standing up and he finally let go of my hand as I did so "I'm about to go check on kinsley"
"Go do that real quick and come back. Im not done witchu" Kyran grinned
I bit my cheeks to hide my smile and just walked off, leaving the living room to go upstairs and see kinsley
