It was around 9 when the event actually 'started'. The seven guys were called towards the stage gaining everyone's focus. A man stood by the side with a mic on one hand and a glass with champagne on the other,
"My regards to everyone present here. Although this event is held annually there is something special about this year. It's the year with 'the month', the month which only comes once in 20 years. The month which has blessed our family since centuries "
The man raised his glass and was soon followed by all the other guests. The seven girls stood there with a tray in their hands which was covered by a cloth. They were called on the stage and were made to stand behind the guys.
"Our family has always believed that fate and destiny is what has made us reach where we are.
Like it has been passed down from generation to generation,we can't believe that we have already reached the point where our own sons are going to follow the tradition, the same thing we experienced 20 years ago."
Their boss nodded at them to take the cloth off the tray. It revealed a bracelet with the same crystal in all seven of them. It was a beautiful white crystal which looked like something the girls had never seen before. All the seven bracelets were similar but had different colors and their names engraved onto its side.
The one Seolhee was holding belonged to Niki,it was orange in color, 'RIKI' imprinted and had that same white crystal in the middle.
She forwarded the tray while Niki picked up the bracelets,side eyeing her.
"Help me with this"He whispered signaling to the bracelets.
"The bracelet is hard to put on by one person, please help them" They heard a women say from the back.
Sighing, Seolhee placed the tray down and silently took the ends of the bracelet, attaching them together. As soon as their hands came in contact,the white crystal changed colors from white to light pink.
Niki and Seolhee looked at each other,tilting their heads in confusion while giving the ,'You saw that too,right?' Expression
They glanced at the others who were equally shocked since all the other crystals changed colors too. They brushed it off thinking it was normal but the expressions from the elders said otherwise.
The guys straightened their coat sleeves ,facing forward. The guests clapped in sync while whispering things like , "All the boys are good looking" "You can never not trust the genes" "This generation seems much more powerful"
The girls excused themselves and walked away from the stage but were soon met by some people staring at them. It were the stares from the parents.
As time passed their boss came upto the counter where all the girls were managing the trays, "All of you are called inside the VIP room. Go,now" he demanded. They gave each other a glance and walked towards the white door.
The boys sat on the big couches opposite to their parents.
"It isn't that much of a big deal,is it?"Heeseung tries to calm their obviously panicking mothers
"Son, if it wasn't, why would your mom walk around this room so many times?" His father replies.
"Just make sure you don't loose the bond with those girls " Jake's father added
"Yah, stop referring to them as 'those girls' you know how important they will become to the family blood line now. Mainly these kids powers" Jay's father slightly scolds
"Keep the girls in control. That's the way you can recieve all your powers" Sunoo's mom warns
"We know mom,how many times do we have to hear this?"Sunoo whines "Exactly, can't we just go sleep? We have morning classes tomorrow "Jungwon adds
"Shut it won, do you think you guys can fool your own parents? Do you think we really don't know the meaning of your 'extra classes'? God knows how many parties you visit and how many girls you meet" Jungwon's mom protests
"OK ok relax everyone, you want us to take control of the relationship between we and those girls right? Very easy"Jay calms everyone down
"Exactly, mom ,dad ,uncles and aunties. You guys should know by now how good we are in that field. Just trust us " Sunghoon too adds,very proud.
A knock was heard on the door. With a simple nod, the door opened and the girls silently walked inside.
Niki's mom let out a small cough before walking towards them, "You guys have worked so hard today,so we thought why not give something in return?"
The girls were confused as to what she meant.
"Right,why don't you guys go out and pick a gift for yourself tomorrow? " Jay's mom too says
"And there is seven of you so whoever you put on bracelet today,can be the one you go with? " Jungwon's dad insisted.
"I'll take it from here dad. So Aarah,why don't you go at 9 tomorrow? Or is my handsome face an enough gift for you"Sunghoon perks up from behind recieving disgusted looks from the other.
"Son" His father strictly says "OK sorry,but it was a nice offer"He again says walking towards her, "You need to get a life" She replies in a small voice.
"Great! I will pick Eunae at 9 too. Text me your address" Jake rests a hand on Sunghoon's shoulder. "Fine"
"What time will it be ok for you Mirae?" Jay asks "11?" "11 it is then"
"So,what about you?"Niki tilts his head looking for answer "I have school tho"Seolhee replies "Just bunk it" Niki says as if it's nothing "How is it so easy for you to say?" The girl just couldn't understand him. "Just because, anyway I am picking u up at 11 too. " "Whatever "
"Aren't you going to ask me?" Chaewon looks at Sunoo He sighs turning to look at her, "What time?" "9?" "Ok" He replies somewhat rudely too which his mother could be seen shaking her head
"So?"Hana quietly speaks, "Oh yea ,what about 12?" Heeseung replies "OK that would be great"
"What about you princess?" Jungwon teasingly looks over "Dont call me that"Saeri glares at him , "12 would be nice" She says while he just nods
