~ 11 pm ~

Y/N's POV

Operation Rising Sun is now in full action. At 11:30 PM I would be hanging out with my entire friend group since last school year. But.. here's the catch, we would be doing it after the school curfew. Chances are, we would be getting caught. Why not start off this year with a bang? We had all agreed to bring something to the "friend group reunion," at this point I had absolutely nothing to offer, so instead I made my way to the kitchen and pray to Merlin himself that they have stocked back up on bread. As I made my way into the kitchen, I seen Ron sitting outside of the entry way. "Weasley, what are you doing here at these hours?" I asked, scaring the fuck out of Ron. He jumped a little and looked at me, "Blimey! They won't let me in the kitchen. Something about bread I don't really know." My eyes widened "Did you say that they have bread?" Ron went to respond, but I had no time to listen. I ran into the kitchen and was immediately stopped by one of the house elves, "Miss L/N here is your bread," the elf said whilst handing me a basket of bread. "I love every single one of you!" I shouted out of pure excitement but was immediately greeted with "shhh" from most of the house elves. "Sorry, sorry" I whispered back.  As I was leaving, I seen the time and realized it was 11:23 already. I ran through the doorway and see Ron sitting there, "Ron it's 11:23." Ron hopped out of his seat and together we started running towards the astronomy tower. 

Hermione's POV

I was hesitant to go through with Operation Rising Sun, I had already gotten detention once this year. But, I knew if I didn't go it would be another really long time before we would all be able to hang out again. So, I put on my big girl pants and made my way to the astronomy tower. As soon as I had opened the door that goes into the hallway I had seen Ginny approaching my door, thank Godric I didn't have to walk alone. In Ginny's hand was a bag, that's when I remembered we were bringing things. Did I have any idea what we were supposed to be bringing? No. So, I quickly ran back into my dorm and Ginny followed. "Ginny I don't know what to bring!" I softly yelled while frantically looking around my dorm. "Just bring some candy or something, I don't know!" Ginny responded. That's when it hit me. I had a bunch of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Jelly Bean, I figured we could have some fun trying the flavors all together. Now that I think about it, I've never actually tried any of these things. Everyone says that they are absolutely positively disgusting if you get a bad one. But, you only live once.. right?

George's POV

"Freddie it seems as though we are the first people to show up for once," I had huffed out once Fred and I reached the top of the astronomy tower. "They probably chickened out George" Fred muttered. He wasn't wrong.. we don't exactly have a friend group full of pranksters and dare devils like the two of us. Shortly thereafter, I had seen a group of people running like their life depended on it towards the astronomy tower. "I wonder who they are," Fred whispered from beside me. "They're probably some of our people Fred," and with that we heard the pounding of feet rapidly climbing the stairs of the astronomy tower. The two of us turned around awaiting our friends to come barreling through the doorway, and as if on que Y/N, Ron, Harry, Luna, and Cedric came racing through the door. Between breaths, Harry managed to huff out "We may or may not have been spotted by one of the professors." Oh dear Godric, these idiots. "Which o-" I began before getting cut off by Ron. "We don't know which one, we just better hope the rest of them get here in a timely manner so we have some time together."

Ginny's POV

Hermione and I were sneakily making our way through the grand halls of Hogwarts, when we seen a shadow. The two of us were going to start running in the opposite direction before we realized it was just Neville heading towards the astronomy tower. "Neville!" I whisper yelled at him. Neville turned around "Ginny!" he yelped out in surprise, which earned a shush from Hermione and I both. "Sorry," he apologized before joining us. The three of us continued making our way to the astronomy tower.

~10 minutes later~

George's POV (george in his main character arc over here)

Finally, after what had felt like forever everyone was here. "It's about time! It felt like I've been up here for weeks waiting for you people to show up!" Fred exclaimed from behind me. Ginny scoffed and replied "Now you know how we feel any other time we plan a time to hang out!" which had earned laughs from everyone else. "Ouch that hurt a little," I had stated. After that we had begun story telling, planning, and snacking on the things people had brought. It truly felt like something out of a muggle movie. But, things have to come to an end at some point. It just so happened ours would end when the astronomy tower door flung open and there stood..
