"Thanks Echo! I'll see you tomorrow!" She waved and skipped into her house. He watched her, taking in details of her human form and then shook his helm with disgust. How could he love a human? He shook his helm once more before heading back to base for his own recharge.

A shape was recharging on his bed. He almost wondered if he had somehow ended up walking into Arcee's room, but this room was empty. The walls were a crestfallen gray, the only furniture that lined the walls were a berth and a table. Other than that, the room was empty, just like his own. Arcee's room would probably have things rearranged differently. He inched a bit towards the berth before jumping back as the figure moved, now facing his way. It was Ultra Violet. She was different. She was more femme-like. Her frame was a lilac shade with dashes of white on her shoulder plates and chassis. She had crest, almost looking like a crown, around her helm that was a dull pink.

Her optics flickered as Soundwave walked by. "Sound? Is that you?" she whispered sleepily.

"Yes," he responded nearing the corner of his room.

"There's room for both of us you know." She shifted a bit to make more space. Soundwave shook his helm declining her offer. Ultra Violet stood up and grabbed his servo sluggishly. She dragged him to the berth and laid back down. Soundwave couldn't bring himself to recharge next to her. He felt a bit awkward sitting up when Ultra Violet so graciously gave him room to recharge.

A mega cycle later, he heard a soft sniffle. Ultra Violet's frame trembled with vigor. Her optics fluttered open and she let out a fragile gasp. She looked around soaking in her surroundings. Ultra Violet vented in deeply before laying back down.

"Is...Ultra Violet...ok?" Soundwave put his servo on her shoulder plate, trying his best to comfort her.

"I'm fine. I just had a sparkscare. Sorry if I woke you."

"What was your...sparkscare...about?"

"I was in a black room and the moon was high up shining ghastly. Then I felt a stab on my backstrut. I could see a shape in the moonlight grinning evilly. Then the figure drew a sword and thrusted it through my spark. Their voice was gentle, almost sympathetic for me. They said 'Stay calm. There is no pain now.' Their optics were hard but their voice was sweet. Sweeter than you can ever imagine. Once their sword was through my spark, I could feel a great wad of pain suddenly fall upon me. Then they started torturing me. It was awful Soundwave!" Washer fluid was streaming down her faceplate. She put her helm on Soundwave's chassis, silently crying.

Soundwave thought for a moment, Thought: Hasn't Ultra Violet cried like this before? He shrugged to himself as Ultra Violet hugged him. She cried herself into recharge awhile later. Soundwave laid her down and took a position in the corner of his room. His optics felt heavy. He could no longer keep them online thus closing them.

Soundwave woke up startled. His servos and pedes were held down by energon cuffs to an examination table. A light shined down dimly on Soundwave's visor. The room was cold, as was the examination table. Three femmes walked in staring at Soundwave with pride. Flareup smiled,"Good work Moonracer. And look at you, still fine."

"Couldn't be more proud. He was in recharge though," Moonracer puffed her chassis with dignity.

"It was still a tedious task, but it was well worth it right?"

"We'll see soon enough."

"Moonracer, give me that," Flareup pointed at a lancet bathing in energon.

Moonracer snatched up the lancet and handed it to her, "Don't you think he's gonna wake up?"

"Yea. Give me that needle Chromia. He needs to be in recharge for this and stay in it for sometime." Her words were confident as she cleaned the lancet.
