Soundwave is back in the Nemisis serving under Lord Megatron. Everything feels correct, even though his loyalty to the Decepticon cause is often called into question. It's almost like Soundwave has never gone to the Autobot side. Almost never. Many bots keep bring it up but he doesn't even remember being there. Now the surveillance chief is under constant surveillance by Starscream who doubts Soundwave with all his spark. Even though he truly doesn't care about Soundwave, he wants to rid of him so he can have more chance of taking the position as leader. Will Soundwave ever go back to the confused autobots? Will Starscream find out what happened? Will Starscream gain his dreams as leader or will they stay as dreams? How did Soundwave get back on the Nemisis? Who did this? Why did they do this? What will happen if Soundwave begins to discover that he was in fact on the autobot side? Will it even cross his processor?

When the children left to go home, the autobots picked up a emergency signal from an unknown source. Unable to ignore this, and the only bots that can walk Optimus and Arcee go to investigate. When they get to the scene they find an escape pod that was transmitting the signal. But they get ambushed by the decepticons, due to still not being fully defrosted from there trip to the Arctic, Optimus and Arcee struggle severally. As it seems that the bots are going to be captured. A bot arrives on the scene to lend his weapons and aid taking out the cons with ease. After there savior finished off the decepticons, Arcee finally got a good look at who the bot was; and to her surprise its someone who she hasn't seen in a long time.
