Last time we saw protagonists, they helped move a sleeping Snorlax and battled against Tierno and Trevor but now we see the trio on Route 8 with Serena battling a Absol but enough that lets get on with the meat and potatoes

Still Narrator's p.o.v

Serena: ok Wartortle! Use bubble beam!

Wartortle fires a pressurized beam of bubbles at Absol whom easily dodges it and uses quick attack which does a major amount of damage to Wartortle

Serena: Wartortle are you ok?! *Wartortle nods at Serena* ok good. Use water gun!

Wartortle listens to the command and fires the jet of water out of his mouth and hits Absol leaving it dazed, then Serena throws a Pokéball at it and after 3 shakes Absol has been caught

Shauna: well done Serena!

(Y/n): yeah good job

Serena: thanks you two, also did you two find anything?

(Y/n): I ran into a horde of Pokémon but didn't catch any

Shauna: and I didn't find a thing

Serena: well we should head over to the next town

Shauna: alright let's go then!

With the trio walking down the Route and finally getting to Ambrette Town Serena decided to say something about the fossil lab that's in the town

Serena: we should check out the fossil lab before we head over to the next town

Shauna: may I ask why?

Serena: well if we found any fossils on our journey, it'll be good to know about them

(Y/n): there could be something about Mega Evolution as well as fossils in there if we ask

Serena smiles at (Y/n) statement and Shauna nods in agreement as they walk into the fossil lab and greeted by a scientist

Scientist: welcome, future archaeologists! You were drawn here by the mystique of fossils no doubt!

Serena: well my name is Serena and this is (Y/n) and Shauna. We're researching Mega Evolution and we were wondering if you know anything about it

Scientist: oho! So you're Professor Sycamore's students! I've heard about you! Mega Evolution, you say... I'm sorry, but all I know is that it has something to do with mysterious stones.... still, since you're students of the Professor, you must know about know Pokémon fossils, correct?

Scientist: wonderful! Fossils are the legacy of prehistoric Pokémon! You three should really go have a try at the dig site and experience firsthand

Serena: I see. Well if you don't know anything about Mega Evolution, then...

Scientist 2: hold on! Pokémon that can be restored from fossils just might have something to do with Mega Evolution

Scientist 2: then the assistant in Glittering Cave right now might know something

Shauna: well let's head off then team!
