Caitlyn's POV:

I'd completely forgotten about this part of the building
I thought while we climbed up the stairs.
I presume it's open to guests but since it's not directly attached to the ball room people don't see it...

Vi's POV:
Caitlyn suddenly stops and I almost smash into her. I hear a click and she opens a door. A gust of cold wind whips her hair in my face and makes me want to sneeze.
I guess I didn't realize how hot it was in the big room.
She walks out onto a balcony.
I walk towards the railing, and lean on it.
So many lights...
It's also pretty freakin silent.
Not that I mind.

After a bit, Caitlyn leans onto the railing next to me and she bumps the side of her hip with mine.
"So, what did you think?"
She asks.
"Of..?"
"The ball. Everything"
I put my head on her shoulder and hum, but she doesn't seem satisfied with my response.
"Oh come on. You seemed pretty interested in the food."
I smirk at her and scoff
"Yeah- surprisingly your fancy-ass food is good."
I pause, then make a face remembering some food that I absolutely hated,
"Well.. most of 'em."
She laughs.
"And the ones you hated the most were the raw oysters. That's a food that most people call a delicacy, Vi"

I scoff.
A few minutes pass by, and we don't say anything.
Surprisingly, I feel kinda drained. Not really physically, more mentally.

I hear her take a breath, then she asks, her tone pretty uncertain:
"Vi?"
"M'yeah?"
"Can I... try something?"
I take my head off her shoulder and look in her eyes.
"Uh,- sure?"
"Can I- kiss you?"
