• Chapter seven- Game Of Trust•

Zayn's P.O.V~

She was sleeping,again. God dammit- she can actually sleep again after sleeping straight for two days?? She said she was tired..by what? Sleeping or making us worry?

Her cousin brother, Aderson took a flight and came all the way from Australia just to see her fainted.

His entrance in the house was unexpected. I had texted him and Aash's mom-dad. I knew that her mom-dad would take a flight from California and come to see her too but Ady was not expected.

Not surprising though, he loves her so much that the day he came to the hostel, he was mad...for what?
I can guess why but I don't know for sure- he must have wanted to know who hurt her so that he could break some bones. 

Right now, she is sleeping peacefully and he is holding her hand and smiling. Dammit, Aash has the best brother in the world.

He looks at me asks,"what the fuck is actually wrong with her?"

I don't know myself,dude.
But I anyways answer," it's been happening ever since the breakup. And as to what precisely is wrong with her- I have no clue."

Ady has a confused face.
"What did you say?"
"It's happening since the breakup?"
"Nah mate, after that? You don't know what's going on with her?"
"Yeah"

He leaves her hand and stands up, covers her with a blanket.
"What exactly do u mean by that? Aash never hides from you. You are her best friend. And Samara? Where is she?"

I feel a sting in my heart..Samara. My Samara. She fucking left us. She left me. She left Aash, she left the golden group just to join the hoe's group.

I might have stayed silence for so long since Ady cleared his throat and asked,"you guys broke up too?"

How-? Were there tears in my eyes? Or did I cuss? How did this guy know without actually saying? Silence speaks?

Ady sits near me and pats me, "enlighten me, Zayn".

I say him the whole story, what had happened in the garden and how she is with Arianna and Erifille now.

Ady had listened with no remarks in between, he had just been silent and when I was over, his only question was- "are you okay leaving Samara and staying by Aash?"

It hurts. This question hurts. I have always been Aash's best friend and Samara has always been the love of my life. I love her and I can do anything for her,even now. I might end up leaving Aash, just for her but she's with the bitches so no, just for now.

"Yes".

"If I were you, I would say no", Ady shrugs.

"What the-"

"I asked if you are okay leaving her, I didn't ask you to choose any one..did I?"

Oh? Was he coming like that? This guy is real complicated.

"Well, I pretty much don't know myself. But I am empty."

"You can go to her. I'll take care of this little sister of mine, don't worry".

This 23 year old dude thinks that just cus he's her brother, he has the right to make me choose between Aash and Samara? No, you are wrong. No one hurts Aash. I'm everything you are to her, Aderson Gray. 

Anyways, I decide to stay silent on that.

"So how is it with Mackenzie? You guys still together huh?"

He looks at me and sighs. It's obvious I'm changing the topic but I don't care.

"Yeah, she's amazing as ever".

Mackenzie and Aderson were the most perfect couple I had ever seen in my whole life. So damn happy,always.

"That's great. You know you should already propose her? You are turning 24 this year, when do you plan to marry?"

What the hell has gotten into me? Talking about marriages and shit?

He laughs, and says "we are getting married this December"

Aash's P.O.V~

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTT??? YO ADY,SAY AGAIN.WHAT DID YOU JUST SAYYY??"

"I proposed Mackenzie Ziegler and she said yes."

"OMGGGGGGG!!!!! FINALLY!!!", I say squealing. 

I hug him and beam out happiness. I was soooooo happpy!

He laughs and says," it's me getting married, not you".

I gape at him and then say, " hm yeah but Mackenzie loves me,she might choose to sleep with me on your wedding night. You are so annoying, imagine sleeping with you".

Ady frowns mockingly and looks in the mirror," don't get jealous now. Your brother has the best emerald green eyes and the most  messy hair which every girl loves to play with".

I laugh at him. Did he just say that about him self?? Dammit, he and his vanity.

"And you are saying cause you can't sleep me with me like we used to when we 4 - 6 years old".

My laugh stops, and a smile sad comes on my face. He looks at me and asks," something wrong?"

"Uncle and aunty..."

"Oh."

Aderson Gray, Ady as he is known, is my cousin and he had been staying with us in California, ever since his mom and dad divorced.
They had asked him to choose between mom and dad, he had left them both- which according to me is brilliant since he was the only child and there would have been a fight on that too if he had chosen any one particularly. Uncle and aunty had left him to us, then. And I was more than happy to have him, a brother! Who wouldn't want a brother?! Specially- a brother like him!
But he ended up being overprotective and didn't let me talk to any of the guys in our school.

And then suddenly, a giggle leaves my mouth. Ady looks at me and asks,"may I know what are you thinking?"

"About the first time I told you that I and Noah are dating." Then, I couldn't stop laughing.

"Wasn't it something like ... shocking or something?"

"What- you don't remember?"

He smiles. Okay,he does...but wants me to repeat.

"Well,  let's see- I was fifteen and you were 19, and you were allowed dating while I wasn't. That's kinda harsh you know. Everyone-

"It wasn't. You don't need to date at the age of 15".

"You had your first girlfriend when you were 12,though."

"Shut up. Continue with the story. Its entertaining."

Oh yeah it is. Sure. It's hurting speaking of him, I miss him so much and he must not even be thinking about me. What stupid talk this turned to?
We were talking about you and Mackenzie getting married. That was the best news I heard as soon as I wake up. Why talk about this now? It hurts,Ady. Don't you see through me anymore?

Idk idk idk what am I doing, I srsly have no idea myself. I wanted this book to be a ....somewhat a drama between friends and lovers but it turns out to be somehow weird?

So like, if you are clueless- I don't blame you cuz even I myself am confused ;-;
