——Tuesday——
I make my way into mtc for the first time since we came home. I walked to the gym for the training session. I hadn't seen lando since the plane and we didn't really talk then either. I walk into the gym and make my way over the Jon.
J-morning y/n
Y/n-morning Jon...where is lando
J-he isn't here yet
Y/n-oh okay
J-well we can still get started so you go get changed, I will set it all up
I make my way to the changing room. I put on leggings, a crop top and tie my hair up. As I walk out to the gym I see lando standing talking to Jon.
L-hey y/n
Y/n-hi lando
J-you guys ready
Y/n-yep
We start off with some cardio, it didn't bother me as I was pretty fit lando was a little behind me on the fitness side of things. We turn the treadmills down to a light jog to cool down, we chat as we slowly jog.
L-how are you after the weekend
Y/n-ye I'm okay, how are you
L-I'm good, I just was nervous things between us might be awkward since what happend
Y/n-no it's fine, it was a mistake...we need to be friends
L-oh...ye okay
Y/n-listen lando, it was great...amazing...the best, but we need to focus on our careers
L-ye I guess so, but they are so stupid...who even came up with that rule
J-what rule
Y/n-oh Jon I though you went to the bathroom
J-ye I'm back...what are you talking about, is everything okay?
Y/n-ye, we are talking about the f1 game...there are so many stupid rules
J-I haven't played it...anyway you guys are all done for today, go grab some lunch...I will see you later at the team meeting
We both get showers and get changed then head to the canteen. We eat our lunch together as usual.
L-so if the rule wasn't in place what would happen between us
Y/n-I don't know but it dosent matter because the rule is there
He looks down at his empty plate disappointed
Y/n-lando can we just forget about it and move on because we both know nothing can ever happen between us and your one of my best friends in the paddock, please can we go back to normal?
L-ye okay
Then my phone rings
Y/n-hello
O-hey y/n
Y/n-oh olli, ehm is everything ok
O-ye I guess, can we maybe talk?
Y/n-Ehm about what
O-I just need to try explain myself, y/n I miss you and I don't want to throw away what we had because I love you
Y/n-okay I guess we should considering how it ended
O-dinner tonight?
Y/n-okay
I hang up the phone and put it in my pocket
