Delicate (part1)

Shalini tried the pull the metal string a little tighter to create the tension, while carefully winding it to the tuning post. As she wasn't satisfied with the sound when she plucked the string, she tried to pull it a little bit and that's when the guitar string snapped and cut her finger. She hissed in pain as her finger bled. Hearing the sharp sound, Varun turned and saw Shalini in pain holding her bleeding finger with her other hand.

" cut panikitiya? Athuku thaan naane matharen sonna. Elunthuru va", he grumbled

He took her to the first aid room and cleaned the blood before placing a small band-aid over the cut.Luckily the cut wasn't too deep so the bleeding stopped in a couple of minutes. Both of them returned to the auditorium where the rehearsals for the inter-college competition was happening.

The band finished their rehearsal for the group singing. Next Varun and Shalini were on stage rehearsing for duet singing. As they finished their performance they settled down to discuss with their other mates.

"Shalini we should arrange another guitarist for your solo",Varun said

Shalini frowned,"Ethuku? Athaan naan vasikaren la"

Varun looked down at her injured finger.Shalini followed his eyes," hey i will be fine. chinna cut thaan neeye pathala. competition ku i will be fine"

He gentle nodded," i want you to be fine too. But am not going to take a risk "

Shalini sighed," Varun ipo poi yaara ready panrathu, i will be fine, trust me"

" i know an expert. Nee practice pannu incase something goes wrong i will ask him to join you "

" yaaru?"

"Nee practice pannnu thevapatta solren"

They both then joined their other friends in the cafe near their college for a celebration.

It was Rohit's birthday that day. Arjun, Shalini,Hasini,Shwetha, Shreya, Bala and Varun have all gathered in the cafe near their college to celebrate Rohit's birthday.

" cake cutting sirappa mudinjuthu aduthu treat ku enga polam?", shreya asked.

" chumma chumma ponna restaurants ke poi bore adikuthu athanala intha vaati vithyasama engayachum polam.",Bala said

Rohit murmured to himself," enga ponalum purse ah gali panama vida porathilla enga pona enna?"

" enna machan",Bala asked

Rohit grinned, " enga vena polam nu sonna machan"

" pesama onnu panuvoma athaan ellarum naliku culturals ku banglore porom la epdium 2 days anga thaan pesama anga poi ivan treat ah pathukalam", shwetha said to which everyone agreed

"Vesa pochi epdi kothu vidra paar. Local naale solli mudinjidum naliku veeta thaan eluthivekanum pola", Rohit mumbled to himself.

The professor for the last time checked the name list as the students settled on the bus.

" ok ellarum vanthachula Arjun? List la vera yaar perum vittu poirka?", the professor asked

Arjun glanced at the list again," illa sir pgs ivalothaan"
