Y/n's POV
My mom took me and Sam to Sheila's kid's birthday party, I don't wanna be here. Why do I have to spend my Saturday at a kid's birthday party?

Me: Ma, why do I have to be here? I don't wanna spend my Saturday at a birthday party.
Sam: Exactly.
Mom: Sheila's been working with us for 10 years and she's like family to us.

I sighed loudly, then the mermaids goes on stage, then one mermaid looks so familiar. It was Tory. I didn't know she works here, then Sam start laughing, she looked at our direction and frowned

Sam: Did I say the last place wanted to spend my Saturday ? I meant the first.
Me: Sam, don't start. Leave her alone. She's just doing her job.
Sam: What? She wanna attack me with the spike bracelet.
Me: Sam, let it go.
Sam: Whatever, Y/n. You're always taking her side because she's your girlfriend.
Me: I'm not taking anybody's side.

I rolled my eyes at her and went to the bathroom to wash my hands, then I went back in the birthday party. I saw some kids throwing glitter on Sam, it's like destroying a villain with a glitter bomb. I start laughing, I saw Tory blew a kiss. I walked up to her and she smiled at me

Tory: I hope you're not mad.
Me: Nah. She deserves it. How you doing?
Tory: I'm alright. I had to get another job because your mom got me fired.
Me: I know. I've heard. I'm sorry about her and Sam.
Tory: It's okay. It's not your fault. I gotta get back to work. I'll see you after?
Me: Yeah. Maybe watch a movie and order some food.
Tory: Sounds good to me.

I smiled at her and she pecked my cheek and walked away. Tory start face painting a girl's face, she looked at Miguel and Sam. Sam kissed Miguel and she start walking away, I honestly feel bad for Tory. Tory has to get a job, so she can take care of her mom and Brandon, her mom is sick, she doesn't have a father to help her out. I walked up to Sam and grabbed her arm and walked us to the bathroom

Me: Really?
Sam: What? She deserves it.
Me: She didn't do anything to you, Samantha! She was doing her job and you wanna harass her and shit?! What the fuck's wrong with you?
Sam: She's the one who attacked me with a spike bracelet! She's the one who stole Miguel from me!
Me: Not everything is about you, Sam. You don't know what she's been through. One, you're right, she did attack you with her spike bracelet and that was wrong. Two, she didn't steal Miguel from you. You and Miguel broke up before she joined Cobra Kai! You can't get mad at someone who moved on because you moved on too.
Sam: You're just defending her because she's your girlfriend. I don't get it, what do you see in her?
Me: Samantha, don't fucking start. Tory's been through a lot than anyone else did. Tory's mom is sick, very sick. She has to take care of her mom and her little brother. You don't have to do that because you have a healthy mother. Tory has to get a job because she has to pay the rent, put food on the table, and take care of the bills. You don't have to get a job, you don't have to put food on the table, you don't have to worry about the bills. And Tory doesn't have a father to help her out. You have parents to help you with everything. Tory doesn't have that!
Sam: Everybody's got a sob story, but that doesn't give you a right-
Me: To be a bully. That's bullshit! The only person a bully around here, is you. So, leave her the fuck alone and be thankful that you don't have to do everything that Tory does!

Sam looked down and I walked out of the bathroom and walked up to mom

Mom: Hi Y/n. I talked to Tory and she's not letting somebody help her.
Me: I'll go talk to her. But you need to straighten Sam up.
Mom: I will.

I softly smiled at my mom and waved at my dad and got in my car and drove to the pizza place then I drove to Tory's apartment, I knocked on the door and Tory answered the door

Me: Anybody ordered a pizza?
Tory: Hey babe.
Me: Hey. I'm sorry about Sam. She's just being an asshole right now.
Tory: It's not your fault.
Me: You still wanna go watch a movie?
Tory: I love to.

I smiled at her and grabbed my laptop out of my car and we went to her room and we decided to watch Girl, Interrupted on Netflix, we love this movie, we were eating and watching the movie. Tory laid her head on my chest and I kissed her forehead and wrapped my arms around her

Tory: I love you, Y/n.
Me: I love you too, babe.
