Victoria's pov.

After we rode on the boat we went out to dinner.
"Reservation for Scott's?
"Yes, Mr. Scott, right this way"

We were making our way to our table and I heard some girl's voice calling out to Hardin.

"Hardin"

"Hey, Lilly. How are you?" Hardin says hugging this so-named Lilly
"No fucking way. It's been forever" she says
"A long time huh?"
They both look at me and he introduces us.
"This is Victoria. Victoria, Lillian"
"Hi," I say
"Nice dress" that's all she says
"I'll be over in a sec," Hardin says

He sits with them okay whatever.

Later that night it was just us at the cabin we were in the hot tub.

"At alone at last," he says
Getting into the hot tub.
"It's good to come one before they get home," he says helping me get in.
"I hope they're having more than one cocktail," I say
"You do kind of like it though. The thrill of being caught." Hardin says
"Yes don't you remember that one time in New York when we were at dinner with my parents and we ran off to the restroom and my mother came looking for us," I say and I make my way onto his lap.
We start kissing and undressing.
"Trust me," he says
"Always"
We just make out and make love.

"I wish you were coming to Seattle," I say
"Can I ask you a question?" He asks
"Yes"
"Does your moving to Seattle have anything to do with Noah? cause I heard he's up there." Hardin says and looks at me.
"No, we haven't talked anymore," I say
"Do you still have feelings for him?" He asks
"Come on enough with the questions"
"Victoria be honest," he says holding my hand.
"There was a moment when I reached out to Noah when I was with my parents and," I say
he lets my hand drop and he gets out of the hot tub.

"Hardin."
He just walks away.

I made my way up to our room and he was gone he just left the wet towel on the floor.
I called and left messages but he didn't answer not until a couple of minutes he texted saying he was with this Lillian girl.

Me being dumb and annoyed with all the shit Hardin makes me go through I let it go. I didn't go after him.
I just stayed at the cabin and we'll see what happens when he returns. If he decides to stop being an asshole and be the caring boyfriend I once had not this toxic guy. Who keeps dragging me along I always come back to him. He's all I have known since I came to Washington state. He's my everything and always be my first love.

The next day

I came back to our room after my conversation with Landon about his move to New York I told him he will love it and he should enjoy what he wants to pursue.

Hardin was packing and I know he's mad about last night. I want him to act like he cares and loves me and our relationship.

"I thought that we were gonna be more open with each other," I say

He stops want he was doing and throws my phone on the bed.

"So did I," Hardin says
"Oh, you saw those messages you can see that I didn't message back okay," I say picking up my phone.
"Yes, I did and it doesn't matter you can be the bigger person and say that you're in a happy and loving relationship with me," Hardin says
"Are you serious what fucking happy and loving relationship Uh? You always sabotage every good moment that we have" I say
"No, no, no, if I wanted to try and sabotage a good moment, I would have brought up your fucking relationship with Noah," Hardin says
"You always bring it up and I'm tired of this bs. I want to be happy and enjoy us but you made our relationship real toxic." I say.
"V you must admit if I were moving away with an admitted love interest you would have some feelings about that wouldn't you?" Hardin says
"He was some who I did love and he respected me and loved me. But I threw it away for you and now I see it was a fucking mistake. You never fucking trust me." I say
"Oh, really and I do trust you. It's just him who I don't trust" he says
"You don't trust me and you don't trust anyone. You just want to control them. Is this seriously about Noah or is this about me moving" I say
"The irony is I got you the damn job in the first place." He says
"Oh really now your taking credit for my success. I only worked there because I just wanted to add something for my transcript." I say
"We all know you don't have an interest in English. I knew you wouldn't get it on your own so I put in a word for you" Hardin says
"Okay you want me to thank you and I forget all this bs. So you know I'm going to Seattle and I don't care if you run off again." I say
"There a difference between not being able to live without someone and loving them. So pick what you want then." Hardin says
"Fuck you," I say
He just walks away and gets in the waiting car for us. 

I said my goodbyes to his parents and Landon.

"He is scared of losing you. He loves you, and he knows that you're the best thing that's ever happened to him." Mr. Scott says
"Well, he has a bad way of showing it," I say
"No, Victoria it's true. You've changed his life. He knows it. We all know it. You stay in touch. Okay." He says

I sit in the car and Hardin just sitting there he doesn't say a word to me. I know he is angry and I can't handle it anymore. I'm done I'm leaving for Seattle.

We made it back to our place and I packed my stuff.

Hardin's pov.

After we got home back from our weekend with my father I left to meet up with Vance.

"She's gonna thrive up there, man," I say to Vance
"What and that's a bad thing? This is a big step for her in her career. You should be happy for her." He says
"I am. I am happy. I just don't show it cause I don't want her to leave." I say
"You could come with her. I've got loads of work for you." Vance says
"I don't wanna do that"
"You'd get great benefits we could spend time together." He says
"I don't any your handouts. I'm sorry. They're the reason I'm here in the first place, and I don't want any more help."
"Victoria didn't get a favor. She's excellent. She earned this position" he says
"She does deserve it. I'm sure she'll do smashingly" I say

With that being said I headed back to our place to make it up to her. I entered and I noticed that all her stuff was gone. She did leave me and I know that I deserve it after being an asshole to her.
