"Tinawagan mo na ba?"
Kyle asked Brian as the waited outside ng bahay ng mga Fedelin.
Kyle paced back and forth as Andrea and Brian tried to call Seth and Francine. Sinusunod ng mata ni Andrea si Kyle.
"Kyle, pwede ka bang kumalma? Baka may pinuntahan lang," sabi ni Andrea. "Besides, mapagkakatiwalaan si Seth."
Kyle and Andrea looked at each other for a moment when they heard laughing behind them. They both turned around and saw Seth and Francine walking towards them. Biglang tumakbo si Kyle papunta kay Francine at niyakap ito ng mahigpit.

"Francine, I was so worried."
Sabi ni Kyle habang niyayakap si Francine.
Francine just stood there until Kyle let her go. Seth stared at them, a pain forming in his chest.
Oo nga pala. Hindi ka nga pala akin, Seth thought.
Umupo siya katabi si Andrea habang nag-uusap pa si Kyle at Francine. Hinawakan ni Andrea ang kamay niya.
"San ba kayo pumunta?" tanong ni Andrea. "Buong araw namin kayong pinaghahanap ni Kyle eh."
"Nilibot ko lang ng Batangas si Francine kasi..." Seth said, the sadness now evident in his voice. "...uuwi na siya bukas."
"Ah, okay," Andrea said, then she smiled. "Party pa rin ni Papa sa hacienda, baka gusto niyong kumain muna ni Francine."
Francine watched as Andrea and Seth held hands and frowned.
"Wag na. Hindi naman ako gutom. I'll go to bed early," Francine said.
"Francine, san ba ako matutulog ngayon? I don't think all of us will fit in sa bahay nila Seth," Kyle said, mockingly.
"What if sa villa nalang kayo matulog?" Andrea said, beaming. "Tayong apat. Maraming kwarto dun sa villa namin pero wala namang gumagamit. That way, makakatulog tayong lahat ng maayos, at para mas may oras din kaming mag-usap ni Seth."
Andrea snaked her arm through Seth's and Francine turned away.

"I heard you and John had lunch today."
Celeste said as she put down her book, sitting on the bed.
Silvestre took off his tie as he spoke.
"John is proposing a business merger again. Halatang natatakot na sa Diaz Group," Silvestre said, laughing.
"What did he say this time?"
"Something crazy," Silvestre said. "He proposed a merger and an arranged marriage for Francine and his son, Kyle Echarri."
"Nasisiraan na talaga yan ng ulo si John," sabi ni Celeste as she took her glasses off. "Kahit ano nalang naiisipang gawin just to get us to merge with Echarri Industries. Look, Silvestre, keep an eye out for him. He may just have tricks in his sleeve."
"Don't worry, Mahal. I know John. Kabisadong kabisado ko siya. He can't outsmart me."

"Here."
Andrea said, giving Kyle, Francine, and Seth their room keys.
Francine got Room 5, Seth in Room 6, Kyle in Room 7, while Andrea in Room 8. They all walked inside the villa, taking a look inside.
"Mauuna na siguro ako sa kwarto ko," Kyle said. "Maliligo muna ako. Good night."
Kyle kissed Francine on the cheek, then left. Andrea also excused herself, leaving Seth and Francine alone in the hallway.
