The Scroll Of Seals and The Confrontation

Naruto shunshined to the edge of the forest that his Kage bunshin saw Mizuki running towards. His sensory abilities almost immediately sniffed the Chunin out.  Naruto was way faster than Mizuki and reached his location in less than a minute. "What exactly do you think you're doing with the scroll of seals?" he whispered into Mizuki's ear. The chunin's face was flooded with fear as he heard the sound of unsheathing of the blade. The rustle of leaves was the only sound other than the howling wind as the sword was drawn out. The chunin didn't expect anyone to find him this soon. If it would be anyone powerful, he knew he would be defeated. He looked around in terror to see the masked blonde. After the shock subsided in a couple of seconds, he let out a terrible laugh. "I don't know what I was scared of, it's just you!" He continued that horrible laugh until he couldn't breathe.
"Well it's a good thing, I met you here. I can take out the demon myself. Finally, everyone will be rid of the danger." the chunin said. "You are nothing compared to me! All I am gonna need is this single Fuma Shuriken!" He threw the large four-cornered Shuriken towards Naruto. But Naruto wasn't told by the Hokage himself, that he had nearly Anbu-level speed for nothing. The Hatake stepped aside easily.
"You still didn't answer my question Mizuki Sensei, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH THAT SCROLL.?!" he yelled.
Mizuki just scoffed and said in a mocking voice "Aww, has the baby gotten angwy?" the chunin replied. 
"If you are doing what I think you're doing, you're not even worth my anger, you bastard." the fresh genin stated coldly.
Mizuki was greatly enraged by this. He was being insulted by a genin? "SHUT UP YOU FOX. NO ONE EVER CARED ABOUT YOU ANYWAY. YOU'RE JUST A NUISANCE TO THE VILLAGE!" A smirk started forming on his face. "Ever wonder why everyone ignores you, everyone hates you and looks down upon you? That's because YOU'RE THE REINCARNATION OF THE NINE TAILS! YOU, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO KILLED OUR HOKAGE AND SEVERAL OF OUR SHINOBI! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A MONSTER!" When he finally looked to see the reaction on Naruto's face, he didn't see him there. He looked around and found him reading a book with a bored expression in his eyes. "You are done now?" he asked lazily as he put the miniature book in his pocket. Now, there the chunin was heavily infuriated. "YOU ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO ME! I WILL LEAVE AND JOIN OROCHIMARU, AND THEN EVERYONE WILL FINALLY APPRECIATE MY STRENGTH! I HAVE ALREADY AND WILL CONTINUE TO KILL MY COMRADES IF IT MEANS I'LL HAVE POWER!" That last sentence had pissed Naruto off. His sensei killed his comrades? "You will do no such thing." the masked boy said coldly. Suddenly, an unimaginable amount of Killing Intent left Naruto's body. Mizuki was frozen in fear. 'T-this isn't e-even the K-Kyuubi's KI, i-its the b-boys own!' he realized as there were no red flares, if it was the Kyuubi's, there would at least be a red mist. He blinked and Naruto was gone. "Matter of fact, you won't do anything at all again," said Naruto's voice from behind him... Mizuki was frozen due to the KI....he felt him breathing down his neck... and that was the last thing he ever felt. Mizuki's head rolled on the floor, cut off from the rest of his body Naruto picked up the Scroll of Seals again. Then something struck him mentally. He had killed him.... all the man heard before he died was the swish of a blade.... the swish of Naruto's saber.... he had killed him... Naruto felt utmost guilt, guilt that he had never felt before. He had taken the man's life, yes, he was betraying the leaf.... but now he was no longer in existence... Naruto was almost on the verge of tears, but he composed himself and shunshined to the Hokage's office's window. The old Hokage saw him with the Scroll of Seals and became very curious. "Hey, Naruto, why do you have that scroll. WAIT, HOW DID YOU GET THAT!?" 
"Calm down Jiji, let me explain." Naruto got inside the office and sat on the chair, but not before returning the scroll to the Sandaime. Naruto explained everything from the exam to what all happened. "I killed him Jiji... I took his life.... all he heard before dying was my saber..." he said at the end, breaking down. Jiji got up and went to his surrogate grandson. "Look Naruto, yes you might have killed him, but think of it like this, if Mizuki had gotten the scroll to Orochimaru, which as you know is very dangerous, the pedophile would've destroyed the leaf. You did this to protect your village. Your close ones like me, Kakashi, Ino, Sasuke, and all of your other friends. And you truly feel guilty about it. Killing is a horrible experience, but a shinobi must get over it. It is always hard to get over your first kill. Unless you don't enjoy killing or like it, you're all good." said the wise Hokage. The words consoled him a lot. He nodded and mopped up his tears. The Sandaime helped the boy up and said "I recommend you meditate Naruto. It always helps in these kinds of situations. Now, the scroll of seals being an S-Rank Artifact of the hidden leaf will automatically qualify into an S-Rank Mission. You will be paid the amount of an S-Rank and the mission will be noted in the databook."  Naruto nodded and said goodbye to his beloved Jiji. He reached home, walking slowly. Somehow, the entire village had gotten word of what happened. Naruto suspected that the Anbu in the Hokage's Office must've been chatting about it in the open as he wandered. Naruto got to his home and unlocked the door. He had no sooner opened the door than someone ran over to him, and before he knew he was being kissed on the lips. It was Ino, she was hugging him tightly, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Choji standing right behind her. Shikamaru said from behind "We were roaming just around Ino's shop and we heard the Anbu talk about Mizuki. Is it true?" Naruto broke the kiss and said "Yup." This time it was Sasuke's turn to hug him "Are you hurt somewhere, I'll get the first-aid kit-" he said worriedly. Naruto interrupted him "Sasuke, I'm perfectly fine. Just... I'm sure you heard that I had to kill him. I think I'll just meditate for a while. No need to worry about it guys. You all can go home." Shika and Choji nodded. Ino just stated "I was going to stay for the night at Choji's anyway, my parents won't be back till early morning tomorrow. I'll just stay here." Kakashi wasn't going to be back till tomorrow morning either, so Naruto let Ino stay. He walked into the grounds and sat down. He cleared his mind of all things, ignored all sounds, even of the moving wind. His mind was at complete peace. He was getting into the main focus of his meditation when he suddenly found himself in a... sewer? He walked around and he heard a voice from the forefront "So the jailor finally meets the prisoner." Naruto immediately realized whom that voice belonged to as he walked towards its source. He saw bars and behind them, a ferocious orange beast "COME TO ME SO I CAN KILL YOU, COME TO THE LEGENDARY KYUUBI KITSUNE-" Naruto interrupted him "Cut the crap Kyuubi, you've been inside me for 12 years and you haven't managed to harm me. So is this my subconscious? And isn't the seal on my stomach, so how are you here? WAIT THIS PLACE IS WET ON THE FLOOR, IS THIS MY STOMACH?!" To Naruto's surprise, the Kyuubi..... laughed. "I thought you were a smart, boy when you deduced that I can't harm you and when you thought this was your subconscious. Well, you were right, this is your subconscious, not your stomach. The seal may be on your stomach, but I talk to you from here." Naruto took a second to take that in and then looked around and said " This place looks depressing. I feel bad for you, Kyuubi, you've had to be stuck here for 12 years. Wait, this is my mindscape, so.. ok let me just try this." Naruto closed his eyes and concentrated heard. The entire place started changing... now it was a beautiful forest with even a river running down it. The bars disappeared and for a wonderful moment, the Kyuubi thought he had been freed, but then he saw the collar on his paw and realized that he had just transformed the seal, not removed it. Naruto opened his eyes and said "That's way better. By the way, Kyuubi, what is your name, it cant be just nine-tails, right?" The fox was taken aback. 'No one ever asked for my name except Tou-san... could it be that this is the one you mentioned' the demon thought. 'Well yeah, my name is Kurama." the beast said. "So, Kurama wanna be my friend? You must get lonely in here. Plus, if you co-operate with me, we'll make a perfect team, doncha think?" said Naruto. Kurama again was taken aback by the abruptness. He could tell that this was all genuine feeling that Naruto was directing towards. The words of his Tou-san came back to him.  "He will sympathize with you, and see you all as a friend instead of a burden. He will be the one..."  The Kyuubi thought he'd trust him, "  Sure kid, but for you to access my power, you'll have to learn it gradually. You won't be able to use all Nine-Tails of my power instantly. Every time a tail appears like a cloak, it means a portion of the chakra of mine that you'll be able to use. But..... You want to be my friends even after you know that I killed your parents?" stated the beast. Naruto took a second to think and then said "Kurama when you spoke that last sentence, I could sense you feeling guilty. Something tells me you're not the mindless monster everyone describes you to be. Did... something happen that night?" Kurama thought about telling him and then decided he would, "I'll start from the beginning. On the night of the Kyuubi attack, I was sleeping and I randomly woke up in Konoha. But then as soon as I woke I found an Uchiha on me. I knew that Uchiha wasn't from the leaf. Seemed like a rogue ninja. The Sharingan has the power to control me or any tailed beast with its advanced genjustu. The Uchiha said he was Madara Uchiha, but I know for a fact that that was not true. I was, at once, the summoning of Madara, and his chakra wasn't anything like Madara's. I was controlled by him to terrorize the village." Naruto nodded He understood how this made sense.The Kyuubi continued  "Enough of that, Naruto. I will help you control my chakra, but I can only get you to a certain point. I believe I'll be able to teach you up to the 3-tailed cloak, but for above that, you'll have to get a teacher who knows the seal. But no point in trying to find him at least until you become chunin." Naruto nodded again. Then it struck him, he was inside here for almost an hour now "
"OH NO, I'VE BEEN IN HERE FOR AN HOUR NOW, SASUKE AND INO-CHAN WILL GET WORRIED POINTLESSLY!" 
"Calm down Naruto, time works differently here. An hour here is one minute in the real world. Every minute that passes here, is a second out there. You're all good. And just so you know, if you want to talk to me, you can just think with your thoughts directed towards me, if you do that, you won't need to in your subconscious, but you'll be able to talk to me."

"That's a relief, I'm going to go now Kyuubi, I'll catch you later!" Naruto said as he cut off the connection. He woke up into the real world and the lights of the house were out. He deduced that Sasuke had gone to sleep, it was pretty late. But the question was, where was Ino? Naruto walked into his room and found Ino laying on his queen size bed. "Babe, what are you doing in my bed?" asked Naruto. "Babe, it's only fair if I sleep with my boyfriends when I'm at his house. Don't worry we're not having sex or something. Can't promise anything about cuddling and making out." the beautiful Yamanaka replied. Naruto could see that mischievous grin again. He didn't mind at all, 'Well nothing like sleeping with my girlfriend after befriending the tailed beast inside you." he said as he took off his mask and shirt. He usually slept with his shirt off. Ino just laughed, and then realized "WAIT, YOU TAMED THE KYUUBI?"  "Well, I befriended him, not tamed ad his name is Kurama." the Namikaze replied as he got into bed. After Ino finally recovered from the shock she said "You never fail to amaze, Naruto-kun" as she kissed him.

Authors Note-  aaayyy see what i did with da title. yall must have thought confrontation means confronting Mizuki, he confronted Kurama. well not exactly confronted but u get da point. long chap (2277 words) till next time sayonaaara :)
