Author's Note
There was always going to be a sequel to Forget Me... because I knew the story was far from over. I also knew that the dysfunctionality disguised as angst in Together with Me: The Next Chapter was ripe for a fixer-upper. This is that fixer-upper.
I simply wondered, "What if Korn just stopped fighting for Knock? What if that random bike accident that sort of galvanized everyone into action didn't happen? What would Korn's life look like if he had just walked away instead?"
Friends who thought he was a lying, cheating asshole. Parents who finally knew who their son really was and didn't want anything to do with him. Knock, who asked him to leave him alone., Only this time, Korn listened.
But this is an erotic romance story. Love and lots of sex. So there had to be a love interest in there somewhere. At first, I thought of a cross-over. There are so many other Engineering Majors to choose from that I was literally spoiled for choice. I mean...come on!

But then I thought, why not just go with the guy who is already in the story; Mew.
Unfortunately, Mew is a troublesome choice...because of the past.
But he is also an interesting choice...because of the past.
Trying to use my imagination as best as I could in a bad situation, I decided to rely on the sense that Mew was the one person who could understand Korn for all that he was...and wasn't.
All that, 'What if...?' has led me here.
