The next months went fast. After leaving us on the street we had managed to find our apartments and I had used the next few days just trying to get my place in order. For sure they had brought my stuff up, but they were the first thing I pumped into walking through the door. Literally. The stuff was piled right in front of the door.

After the first five days that I had lived in Italy, it had been my time to get to my first day at work. I had been shaking from nervousness but after I had gotten through the first half of my day, I had forgotten all about that. I had been named to be Carlos' photographer/media person/assistant kind of guy. I mean I spent most of my time behind the camera taking photos or filming some stuff for our YouTube and getting know the basics of the company. I had been told that in some point I would get more responsibility if everything went well.

Carlos and I, well you could say we had become friends. Even though I hadn't seen him much around the facility I bumped into him now and then in the hallways of our workplace or in my home building. We had filmed some stuff already and the fact that we both were newbies in the team had really helped us to bond. I had also met Charles who seemed to be very down to earth kind of guy. We had chatted a few times but way less than with Carlos. Enough for me to be comfortable around him too, but not enough for me to say that I knew him or anything.

Rest of the Carlos' PR-team was great. I had made some friends even though I was the youngest I got along well with the others. Nick and Camilla had become my closest friends I would say. Nick was from UK originally but had lived here for a while now, he was five years older than me so not that old either and was working on websites and updating their media with some other people. Camila was working alongside of him. She was a  few years younger than Nick, and I think we had hit it of the most from the crew.

Oh, and getting to this day. They had failed to mention one, I would say a quite important detail of my job when we had talked about my job description. They hadn't success to mention that I would be travelling with the team for all GP's and else. I mean I was kind of expecting that when I applied for the job but had thought that it wasn't like that after the discussing with them for the first time about the job.

So here I was standing on the paddock in Bahrain ready for the pre-season testing to begin. You could sense the tension and excitement all around the team and the whole paddock. The weather was very rough to be honest. There was a sandstorm coming and we needed to get everything done before that.

I stared through my camera lens trying to capture the atmosphere and the firsts of the season when something walked into my picture. It was the young British driver Lando Norris. He seemed calm but there was something about him that caught my eye. I didn't know what it was, maybe the way he laughed or hold his water bottle like two-year-old, but there was something about him that made me stop and look at him.

" You know that I could introduce you two?" a voice next to me asked catching what I was staring at.

" Yeah, no need for that" I answered in Spanish which left Carlos a little puzzled. I hadn't really told him I could speak Spanish yet and thought this would be a great moment for that. I loved watch him getting confused. It was hilarious.

" So, all this time we could've speak Spanish?" he now asked me in his own language looking at me rolling his eyes.

" Yeah well, I'm not perfect at talking it but yeah, at least you could've talked to me in Spanish, I understand it perfectly" I told him. I mean, I had been listening to my relatives to speak Spanish my whole life and made a huge effort to get there with the language but now, I could say that I was pretty much fluent understanding it and pretty good talking it myself.
