He slowly uncovered his small frame covered in dirt. Laserbeak's frame was still a bright shiny black and his feathers still fine. Soundwave put him close to his chassis. There was a sharp burn in his spark. Some of his energy felt drained away. There was a small shake from Laserbeak, his optics flickered on in there usual deep red.

"Soundwave?" Laserbeak cooed. Surprised Soundwave looked down at the small black bird.

"Laserbeak?" He questioned using Ultra Violet's voice.

"Soundwave!" Laserbeak wiggled out of his grasp and jumped on his helm. "Your here! I thought I was offlined!"

"You are...not...offlined...and never again will be."

"Can we get out of the rain? I don't want my feathers to be wet." Laserbeak jumped on Soundwave's shoulder plate. He brushed Laserbeak's helm with the tip of his digit as he walked to the entrance of the autobot base but he did not enter. He stood still, running through his entire memory chip.

He looked for anything helpful that might explain why Laserbeak is alive. His sparked pumped more slowly as he saw Windstroke. Advice: Move on, he urged himself. He couldn't wipe the memory completely away, then nothing would make sense. If he kept it, he would be the same. He felt a small nudge from Laserbeak. His optics were rounded with worry. Soundwave looked down at his pedes.

The truth was, Soundwave didn't want to go back. He didn't want to go back into the base. He didn't want to see Chromia's horrified faceplate. He didn't want to see Optimus' helm shake in disapproval. He didn't want to see Ultra Violet's angry optics.

"Soundwave?" Questioned Laserbeak leaning on Soundwave's helm.

Soundwave summoned up the courage, today was going to be the first solar cycle he might be lectured for something Megatron would approve of, especially if he did it to Starscream. He ignored the nagging feeling and proceeded to walk with caution. The pale white sky disappearing behind him as the doors closed.

It was his own fault for even trying to hurt Chromia. It wasn't her fault she was so desperate to send the message, in fact it would have been even better if she had not said anything. He shook his helm, Fact: Soundwave did this. Fact: Soundwave will get what he deserves. He walked straight to his berth room. Not looking at either of his sides. Nobot said a word, which was highly to his liking. Almost nobot.

"What were you thinking you piece of scrap!" Ultra Violet practically threw the words at his visor. Her optics were narrowed with hatred. "Sometimes I wonder why I bother with you Soundwave! Nothing can be completed with you," she pointed an accusing digit at him,"You maybe on the right side but your spark is still a Decepticon!" Her words were sharp. "Why can't you just change? In fact I should let Flareup and Moonracer do their thing! I don't care anymore," each of her words stabbed Soundwave's spark, his "Decepticon" spark...

"I have...changed."

"No you haven't! Your still as ruthless as I remember you! Ever since we ever met, you always showed a dislike to femmes!" Ultra Violet leaned in nearly touching Soundwave's helm.

"Not true." Soundwave could feel Laserbeak shaking on his shoulder plate.

"You can't lie Soundwave! You can't run away from your problems," she hissed.

"Is everything alright here? I heard screaming." Arcee headed towards Soundwave and Ultra Violet.

"Everything's fine," they both growled in unison facing her.

Arcee stepped back,"Ok."

Ultra Violet looked back at Soundwave. She said nothing but her optics seemed to burn a hole in Soundwave's spark. Soundwave turned his back strut on both femmes, Wish: Never met Ultra Violet. He would never voice the words but she is really yanking on his wires so the temptation wasn't anything he can just throw into the back of his processor. Soundwave stalked back to the main room and kept his helm low. Laserbeak jumped up and down angrily. He nipped Soundwave's helm and shoulder plate letting his beak sink in deep into his wires.
