"I have had many names amongst humans and Pokemon before the island, but no actual name" I said and Chloe listened with interest and repeated for the humans.

"Then what do you want to be called" SAO asked and I had no reason not to tell them a lie.

"I would like it if you called me Bolt" I said and Chloe translated for the clan elder, who's eyebrow raised with interest.

"And why that name?" He asked me again and I said that it was the name given to me by the Pokemon of the mainland before I got stranded on the island.

He says that it's the name that the Pokémon of the mainland called him in the past Chloe repeated and looked at me curiously, but other than that one eyebrow raise. The elder didn't show any interest in my past.

"So what do you want to know about us?" Sao spread his hand and looked at me, "some things I may not be able to tell you, but I will say what I can without you being an official member of the Family." I looked at Chloe curiously.

He means that we have secrets that can't just be shared with anyone she said and I nodded, that made sense. They were a clan of assassins after all.

"How about what you guys do here?" I asked and Chloe just told me herself, she didn't need to ask the leader about it.

We are assassins yes, and the public knows this, but they only know us as a very prominent and successful group of people of which only have a three percent graduation rate. Chloe wasn't just speaking to me and I knew that but that last part confused me.

"What does that mean?" I asked, "you take in people from outside and train them?" Chloe nodded.

It's only those that we deem worthy of being allowed within the gates, but yes we are basically a special forces training camp that no one knows the location of. She said and I leaned back a little in thought.

"What else do you have here?" I asked, "I can't imagine that you have just this little area around the top of the mountain. And aren't the people that come here deterred by the cold?"

"That's the first test actually" the old man said and I looked at him incredulously, "oh, sorry about that, no I can't understand what you're actually saying but Chloe is able to set up a temporary mind link between everyone in a room." I looked at Chloe amazed, she didn't even look like she was struggling to have that many minds connected through hers.

"Anyways, when we do get new recruits here they have to go through the National Emergency Response Force if they and their Pokemon want to protect a certain region from disasters and Pokemon capable of mass destruction. If they don't want to be a part of a mass response team they can try out for one of the covert teams that cover up the mistakes or, as we do, prevent them from happening.

"Shadow here is actually in one of the schools a part of training for the NERF, but she's not there to train, but look for new recruits for us. As are Mareena and Kai, but once they graduate they aren't able to continue being a student and have to become either an instructor or get a high position in the Response Force."

I looked at Shadow and the other two in curiosity. They were a part of some task force that investigates, fights, and aims to stop natural disasters and higher tier Pokemon that can destroy cities.

"I am going to become a Marine Force Commander" Mareena said, "Kai here wants to go in the areas scorned by constant fire and heat." She leaned to the side and made a gagging noise that got her a light shove and a glare.

"It's called a Flare Region, and it's that way because—" Kai was interrupted by his sister mocking him.

"Yeah no one cares hot pants" she said and the others around laughed while I was just stuck there staring at the two in confusion.
