"Good afternoon Mr. Black."

Rigel jumped to see Headmaster Dumbledore right behind them.

"I hope I am not disturbing you?" He asked politely taking a seat opposite to him.

"Not at all, professor," Rigel said shaking his head. "Is there a problem?

"No not all." Dumbledore chuckled. "In fact, something you may enjoy."

Rigel looked at him curiously.

"Enjoy sir?" Rigel asked tentatively.

"Yes! you have shown incredible talent in transfiguration that even your father -who was brilliant at the subject if I say so- would've been proud of. Hence Professor McGongall and I would like you to meet her once a week to go through some advanced Transfiguration with you, Tuesday evenings at seven pm. Good day, Mr. Black."

With that, the headmaster left the room in a flurry of purple robes.

"Bloody hell," Rigel whispered to himself. Better than his dad! Hermione would kill for these lessons!

The following morning found Rigel found Eliza, and Hermione crammed into an out-of-order bathroom checking the required components of the potion. Hermione called out the name and quantity that she had stolen and then Eliza ticked it off a list she had drawn up. Harry and Ron hadn't come yet though Rigel suspected that they were being interrogated.

McGonagall took names of those who would be staying at Hogwarts over break a day after Hermione declared the potion half-finished, about four weeks later. Harry, Eliza, Rigel, Ron, and Hermione all put their names down immediately. They had all decided that the official plan was to get into the Slytherin common room on Christmas. It was made even better by the fact that almost no one was staying over break.

In order to actually do that, however, the rest of the ingredients needed to be stolen from Snape's private stores. A few days later, the five of them were in Potions, waiting tensely for an opportunity for Harry to slip a Filibuster's Wet-Start No-Heat Firework into someone's cauldron. Finally, Snape was on the other side of the room, critiquing Neville Longbottom's Swelling Solution. The poor guy looked to be near tears.

Rigel shot the others a look. Luckily, Harry got the memo. He ducked swiftly down behind his cauldron, pulled one of Fred's Filibuster fireworks out of his pocket, and gave it a quick prod with his wand. The firework began to fizz and sputter. Knowing he had only seconds, Harry straightened up, took aim, and lobbed it into the air; it landed right on target in Goyle's cauldron.

Goyle's potion exploded, showering the whole class. People shrieked as splashes of the Swelling Solution hit them. Malfoy got a faceful and his nose began to swell like a balloon; Goyle blundered around, his hands over his eyes, which had expanded to the size of a dinner plate — Snape was trying to restore calm and find out what had happened.

Rigel crouched down and snuck to the back of the room. Using a simple alohomora, he entered. He was looking for Powdered bicorn horn and shredded boomslang skin. If his guess was correct, they would be in the back.

As quick as he could, Rigel grabbed the ingredients and stuffed them into the inside pocket of his robes before casting a shrinking charm. Once done, he crept back out to the class and softly closed the door behind him.

When everyone had taken a swig of antidote and the various swellings had subsided, Snape swept over to Goyle's cauldron and scooped out the twisted black remains of the fireworks. There was a sudden hush.

"If I ever find out who threw this," Snape whispered, "I shall make sure that person expelled."

He turned towards Rigel who feigned a confused expression before the man turned to Harry
