MY SALVATION (COMPLETED)

EPILOGUE - 1

Faizi (With a sleepish smile) - Nahi to... Humne Aisa kaha bola? Hum to aapki pregnancy ke mood swings bata rahe the bas.

Monami was getting irritated. She said...

Monami (Irritatedly) - Ab aap log baat karna bandh karege aur Karan aap ab bhi yaha kyu hai??? Jayiye jaldi.

Karan made a face but eventually got up to leave but he asked again...

Karan - Kya kisi aur ko kuch chahiye, to main sath me lete aauga.

Khushi - Mujhe aapke sath aana hai Dada.

Karan - Thik hai, aa jao.

Koel - Mere liye bhi Venila icecream lete aayiyega.

Faizi - Humare liye kuch nahi.

Karan - Thik hai. Main aata hu.

Karan left from there and Monami started to play with the kids. Faizi said....

Faizi - Ab to aapko bhi twins sambhalne hai. Vaise bahot mehnat ka kaam hai ye.

Koel - Vaise ye to bilkul sahi kaha Faizi ne. But time nikal jayega tera, Mona.

Faizi (To Koel) - Vaise aap hospital kab join kar rahi hai, Koel???

Koel - After 1 or 2 years as humare bache bahot hi chhote hai abhi aur tum to jante ho na Faizi ke humare profession me regular cases ke sath sath kabhi kabhi emergency cases bhi hote hai. Aise me bacho ko chhodkar main kaam nahi kar sakti.

Faizi - To jab bhi emergency case ho, hume aur Karan ko bol dena. Hum kuch waqt ke liye babysitting kar lege inki aur vaise bhi hum inke Abbu hai, kuch zimmedari to humari bhi banti hai na...!!!

Monami and Koel smiled listening Faizi but Monami said...

Monami - That's not the problem here, Faizi. The problem is ke in emergency cases me hum doctors tak ko pata nahi hota ke kitna waqt lag sakta hai. Tum logo ka bhi business hai aur business meetings hoti hai to vo bhi nahi atakna chahiye na. Afterall parents jo kuch bhi karte hai, apni aulaad ke baare me sochkar hi karte hai.

Koel - Aur vaise bhi pregnancy ke 6 mahino tak to kaam kiya hi tha na maine. Tab tak na main ruki thi aur na tumne roka tha to ab mera sara waqt, humare bacho aur mere pyaare patidev ke liye hoga. Jab humare bache chalne layak ho jayege to sochungi.

Faizi smiled at Koel. They sat their playing with Kairaa and Faiyaz. It's been half an hour and that's why Koel took her to her bedroom and made her lay down for a while.

After some minutes, Karan came back home with Khushi. He came straight to their bedroom and saw her reading a book of baby names.

Koel and Faizi were in their room to put their kids to sleep. Khushi straight away went to her room to do her homework as they are going out in the evening. Karan had given the icecream to Khushi to give it to Koel.

He came near the bed and sat beside Monami. Monami looked at him and sat up slowly, Karan helped her sit properly. He put the venila icecream and chili potato chips in front of her in a plate.

Monami started to eat it like a kid, so excitedly. Karan smiled at her and said...

Karan (Took that book in his hand) - To.... Kya naam socha humare bacho ka???

Monami (Smilingly) - Main sirf humare bete ka naam bataugi. Aap humari beti ka naam batao as mujhe pata hai ke aap bhi ye book padhte hai.

Karan (Smiling) - Tumhe kaise pata ke humare ek beta aur ek beti honge???

Monami - A mother's instinct, I guess.... Ab bataiye bhi...

Karan (With a sweet smile) - Mira.... Ab mujhe humare bete ka naam batao.

Monami (Smilingly) - Kabir.... To kaisa hai naam???

Karan - Bahot hi acha. Lagta hai tumne bahot socha hai is naam ke baare me.

Monami - Ofcourse, humare bacho ka naam hai. Agar hum nahi sochege to aur kon sochega???

Karan smiled at her and she returned that smile with equal affections. He hugged her with all his love and Monami said pushing him away....

Monami - Are icecream pigal jayegi aapke hug karne ke chakkar me.

And they both laughed heartily. They were feeling so peaceful after what they went through. Karan said....

Karan (Cupping her face) - Thank you for coming into my life. Tumne meri unstable zindagi ko stabilise kiya hai aur ab main apni puri family ke sath bina kisi dar ke ji sakta hu.

Monami (Holding his hands) - Thank you to mujhe aapko kehna chahiye. Aapke aane ke baad meri zindagi kafi adventurous ho gayi thi, varna main to kafi boring zindagi ji rahi thi, bas sirf katne ko hi. Ab main aapke sath, Khushi ke sath aur humare aanewale bacho ke sath chain se zindagi ko enjoy karugi.

They smiled at eachother and hugged eachother. His one hand was around her and one hand was on her belly. At the same time Khushi came there running and said...

Khushi - Khush ko bhi Mumma - Dada ko hug karna hai aur chhote bhai - behen ko bhi.

Monami indicated her to come to them. Khushi went running towards them and hugged them laughing. They both hugged her affectionately. It was a complete family picture....
