Maya worriedly tugged on your sleeve. "Is everything okay?"

"I'm okay. In fact I feel amazing, though I can't say the same for Levi."

You both glanced at Levi, whose rosy face became gray.

The system sighed.

[Host, have pity on him. He looks like his soul has exited his body.]

"Aw, but he's so cute like this."

A blur of orange flew past you.

It banged on the table. Milk tea splashed everywhere.

Your arm shot up and caught the basketball before it could hit Levi.

"Are you okay?"

Levi, who was now frozen for a completely different reason, could not answer.

His curry plate was ruined but he wasn't hurt. You sighed in relief.

"Maya, you?"

"I'm okay!" She was grinning, but the sleeves of her blazer were soaked. She shielded your bento with her arms but her own portion was drenched in milk tea.

[Host, that ball was thrown by the male lead, Haruto.]

"I know," you growled back.

You then instructed your sister, "Take off your jacket. You brought a backup, didn't you?"

"Yup!"

"Good. You can change later after you eat. You can have my lunch."

"What? No!" She clenched her fists. "I can't eat your lunch. I'll just buy something else!"

You flicked her forehead. "Just do as I say, brat."

[Ding. Host, the male lead is approaching.]

"Hi there," he greeted Maya with a smile that was asking to be punched.

Though he was the star of the basketball team and towered over most people, Haruto was no taller than you or Levi. He was tanned and muscular but the more you saw his face, the more confused you became.

You blinked. "Is it just me or is Chubby way more handsome?"

[Ignoring your obsession with Leviathan, this male lead has lost favor with this world and his charisma points have been reduced to half of what it originally was.]

"Lost favor?"

[Answering the Host: this shoujo anime revolves around the female lead, Maya. You can say that she is the favorite person of the god of this specific domain. Depending on how she interacts with other characters, these people will either gain or lose character points. In the original story, Maya developed her relationship with Haruto when he helped her with volleyball.]

"But because I've been training Maya, Haruto has become useless, no different from any other male side character."

[That is correct.]

I sometimes forget just how fictional this world is...

Oblivious to your thoughts, Haruto put a hand on the table and leaned towards Maya. "You're Mia, right?"

You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. Haruto was the playboy type and in the original plot, he often purposefully misnamed your sister to lower her self-esteem and make her jealous.

But too bad for him. Maya was a different person now.

She ignored him and began shrugging off her blazer.
