I was still hooked on this whole "MGK Song" obsession. And my parents were beginning to hate me for blaring his music so loudly in my room, oh well.

Today my dad was taking my sister, my mom, and I to his new company. He recently decided he wanted to start franchising in different types of businesses, so his latest project is a music management company. I would much rather be home sleeping, though.

We walked into the large glass doors. There were signed pictures of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith and The Beatles. I left to admire them and stared at the pictures in amazment.

"Let's go take a look at some of the sessions going on right now." The man nodded and led us to the elevator. He clicked the button labeled "Floor: 4." Ooh, fancy. The doors opened a few seconds later and we followed him to a room with a golden plate on it that read the number "2394." 4 of the most random numbers I have ever seen in my life. He opened the door and everyone followed him in. looked into the booth at the tall, pale boy who was bobbing his head as he rapped lyrics and the older guy sitting beside him with dark brown hair, waiting for his chance to begin singing.

The piercing blue eyes I have made contact with the last few days looked up at me and locked with mine, and they wouldn't leave.

"Kells, what's up dude?" The guy working the sound asked. I guess he missed his next cue when he was looking at me. I scurried out before I could cause any more difficulties.

.~.~.~.~.

We were back in the lobby now and I continued to admire the posters hanging around the entire room. I heard someone clear their throat behind me and turned around to meet the same blue eyes I had met up in the recording room earlier.

"Oh. H-Hey." I tried to say calmly. He smiled.

"You just can't get enough of me, can you?" And there's that bravado that was missing the night of the banquet.

I rolled my eyes. "You record here?" I asked. Obviously. That was a dumb question.

He nodded and looked around. He looked over at my Dad and shook his head.

"What?"

"That guy?" He pointed toward my dad. "Is our new manager. One of those stuck up - rich people." Maybe he didn't see me walk in with him?

"Oh, you mean my Dad?" I crossed my arms and smiled. He bit his lip as his eyes grew wide and he rubbed the back of his neck. He began stuttering. I smiled.

"It's cool. He doesn't like you either." I wispered.

We stood there quietly for a few minutes before he brought up the incident in which he referred to on Twitter.

"I like your ringtone by the way." He joked. My eyes narrowed. I hit his shoulder playfully.

"For the record, I got in trouble for that." He shrugged.

"Should've turned it down." We laughed and playfully faught before my Dad called me over.

"I gotta go. I'll see you around, though." I winked at him before walking over to my Dad who was giving him a dirty glare.

Colson's POV

That was a close one. If she was one of those sensitive girls then I would probably be out of a job right now.

"Kells! Let's go!" I turned around just as Slim made his way back to the elevator and I began to follow him. As I pressed the button and waited for the next elevator, I couldn't help but to smile over at Hayden again.
