14. It's happening!

We were currently having breakfast though i finished mine i was engaged in a conversation with baba sa. My phone was constantly ringing Everyday I leave it in my room on charge while i have my breakfast, why it has to annoy and embarrass Me in front of others just when I decided to keep my phone with me

Baba sa: dear, answer the call must be important
"Sorry baba sa"
Baba sa: what's there to feel sorry, you go ahead

I nodded and stood up while looking at my phone's screen which had missed calls from literally all of my cousins.What the hell is wrong i typed my thoughts on the group that we have on whatsapp

"We are on face time join us!!"

Sanjay one of my cousin said.I switched on my macbook and joined the call.I was shocked would be an understatement every one was just shouting creating hell lot of chaos

"Guys tell me too what's making you all shout?"
"Sammmmmm it's happening!!"

Nikita di who we call Niki di the eldest one among the cousins said cheerfully
And everyone hooted again

"What Is happening can anyone fill me up"
"Ok ok I'll fill you up"

Sanjay replied with all pun intended. Sanjay and his double meaning talks can never have a end

"Kabhi toh seedha baat karle sanjay,pitungi tujhe!"
"Seedha hi toh baat kar raha hun"

I gave him a hard glare to which he rolled his eyes
Finally samisksha agreed to spill the tea.I nodded excitedly as she gave out a final hoot everyone's gone crazy really crazy but this is a normal between Singhania younger clan we're always crazy together

"Sam even you'll shout with us after hearing"

Sanjay said

"Then say what are you waiting for,SAMIKSHA you were going to say?"

Niki di showed her hand i looked at her hand very carefully trying to see what exactly she wanted to show.My mouth hanged all the way down to see a very beautiful diamond ring in her ring finger

"1..2..3"

Samiksha and three of my others counted down and just as the count down ended I shouted loudly with everyone joining me

"Omg niki di I'm so happy for you"

I hooted again

"Omg omg omg this is happening guyssss"

Everyone hooted by now all we were doing were hooting and congratulating niki di countless time

"WHAT'S WRONG SAM"

Veer asked hurrying my way I gave him a confused look at his face which had sweat and he was gasping for air as he came running I quickly muted myself from the video call and switched off my video decreasing the volume of my laptop too

He scanned me from top to bottom.I held his shoulders and gave him a glass of water which he chugged down

"I was talking to my cousins,veer"
Veer: why were you shouting so loudly,I thought something happened to you
"Sam Sam where are you I can't see you and hear you too"
"Uh yes Niki di I'm right here I had some network problem"

I said quickly unmuting myself I switched on the video too.I placed my laptop on my lap and layed on the bed.
I gave Veer a look that I'll finish the call to which he nodded and slumped on the bed keeping his head on my legs and switching on his phone

"So how did you convinced tauji di I'm so excited to hear the whole journey"
Niki di: even I can't wait to tell you,I called these dumbasses while you were not picking up to tell the whole story and all they've been doing from the past 45 minutes is shouting back to back
"You know right niki di since how long we were waiting for you to take this step and I'm very happy you finally did"
Samiksha: I know right
Naman: ok now spill the beans niki di we can't wait anymore

Veer raised his head and looked at me hearing a males voice I raised my eyebrows asking him what's wrong he shook his head and layed back in his position

Niki di narrated the whole story of how she convinced her dad/my father's elder brother for her marriage as she's in a relationship with one of our very important family friend's son(you'll know later about).It was very hard for them to keep up with eachother as both were the heirs of their companies and had very less time for eachother, eventually they are here going to tie knots soon

Samaira was now on call with her mother it was on speaker as her phone was on charge

Sam:Yes mom,niki di called and told me about her whole proposal thing
Sam's Mom: better you take the earliest flight
Sam: But why mom
Sam's Mom: don't tell me you're not going to attend your elder sisters wedding cause I'm definitely not gonna allow you to that
Sam: How can I say no to niki di's wedding mom it's just that I'm here for my friend and how will it look if I go back
Sam's Mom: I don't know about that all just come back it's not like you can't go back there. I'm not hearing any thing more I have to do a lot of shopping and I want my lovely daughter for that do you even remember the last time we've went to one of our shopping spree bonding sessions
*she took a long sigh*
Sam:i know right mom-"

we could hear her dad calling her mom and she stiffened

Sam's Mom: your dad is here aaira I'll talk to you later do let me know when you're taking of I want to see you here by tomorrow

"You can go Sam,why are you thinking about ashika you've talked to her right,and about her engagement it's still time for that,you'll be probably done with the wedding too"
Sam: are you sure

I nodded even though I didn't wanted her to go away from me but I can't act selfish

Sam: come on Veer this is the first time I asked you something

She whined and sat as i pulled the seat for her,maa sa gave a glance

Maa sa: what's wrong my dear

She asked samaira ever so sweetly

Sam: maa sa one of my cousin is getting married and I have to go back to my home
Maa sa: what's the problem there,you can come back after attending it right
Sam: yes maa sa but I asked Veer to accompany me and he's not agreeing

She sulked

Maa sa: that's good right Prince Rajveer why are you not listening to my dear sweetie's request
"I've decided maa sa I can't"
