Peyton ,

When I awoke, just like always, Kaylan was nowhere to be found. Nothing new. I lazily got out of bed and placed my satin pink house coat around my body. After taking care of our hygene, I went to make my Kai and I breakfast.

"Goodmorning mommy."

Kai's little voice said, while wrapping her small arms around my thighs.

"Hey mamas. Are you hungry?"

She sleepily shook up her head yes.

I sat her at the breakfast bar and placed a small plate of pancakes, eggs, turkey beacon, and cut up fruit in front of her. After making myself a plate, we said grace and began to eat.

"Mommy, where daddy?"

She asked, finished up her orange juice.

"I dont know."

"Mama you dont ever know."

She joked, which I didnt find funny at all. Its sad when a 3 years old can see the obvious.

"C'mon big girl. Lets get dressed."

"Can I get in the bath with you?"

she begged, grabbing my hand.

"Sure."

I ran the bath water while Kai picked out the perfect bath beads.

While soaking in the hot water together I couldnt help but smile at my baby. She was the smartest 3 year old I knew. She knew 2 languages, she could count, spell, and read. and was already a little advanced in math.

"Mommy, why are you crying?"

She asked, wiping a tear off my cheek. I didnt even noticed I was crying.

"Im happy."

"Why are you happy?"

"Because you Kai, you make mommy so happy."

She smiled and kissed me.

"What about daddy mommy, do daddy make you happy."

I quickly became sad. Seeing that it was almost noon and Kaylan was still nowhere to be found.

"Yeah. Daddy sometimes make me happy too."

"You and daddy make me happy."

she smied.

I kissed her little face, it reminded me of her fathers. They both share the same hazel eyes.

We finished bathing and put on lounging clothes. Matching PINK jogging suits. Hers purple with pink wording. Her favorite color and mines blue with green wording. I brushed her soft hair into two curly puff balls, her favorite hair style and curled mines.

"Mommy were are we going?"

She asked, whatching me place her purple Uggs on her feet and my blue ones on mines.

"Mommy decided that we were going to have our "girls day out" today."

"Yayy!"

she yelled. I guess she really anted her nails done.

While sitting in the nail salon, getting our pedicures, my phone began to vibrate in my purse. I reached into my Micheal Kors bag, careful to not smuge the wet paint on my finger nails, and grabbed my phone.

"Hello?"

"Where yall at?"

Kaylan asked.

"Out. Why?"

"What you mean why. Because your my wife and Kai is my child. I have the right to know where yall at."

I huffed under my breath.

"But the same rules dont apply to us huh?"

"You still mad about lastnight?"

"Its not only about lastnight Kay. Its about the night before that, a few days before that. Last week, last month, last year! The bullshit never fails."

"Man! C'mon Peyton. What do you want me to do? Huh? We then had this conversation plently of times. Im sorry alright. If I can change it I would. Baby cna we stop arguing."

I remained quiet.

"Look Pey. I'll be here when you and Kai get back. Sunday is family day. Is there anywhere special yall want to go?"

He asked, really trying to make up.

"I dont know. I think Kai wanted to go to dinner and a movie."

He chucked because thats all Kai ever chooses to do.

"Ok. Well I'll be here. I love yall."

"We love you too."

"Love you daddy!"

Kai screamed in the background.

"I love you to Princess Kai."

He said back once I put him on speaker phone.

"Alright ma. See yall soon."

When we hung up, I placed the phone back in my purse and continued to get dolled up.
