I gripped the steering wheel with a permanent smirk on my face as Chris Brown's Under The Influence played from my car's speaker. I glanced over at Ki, who was scrolling on her phone without uttering a word. Part of me wanted to know what her surprise was but the other half of me liked the mystery. So I kept quiet and drove fast. After minutes that seemed like hours, we pulled into my driveway. I opened my garage and pulled the car inside.
