Chapter 9

I get back to the room tired as hell. I try opening it, but it's locked so it took me a minute to find my keys, but eventually I got them then unlocked. As I was about to get in I heard Mpho's door open then I looked her way.

She gestured for me to come then I went to her. "Bro, something is wrong with Katli, she doesn't wanna talk to me, but I'm hoping she'll talk to you." She says then I look back at my room and back to Mpho again.

"What makes you say that?" I ask then she shrugs her shoulders.

"Dawg, so you know how I be barging in the room right?" She asks then I nod my head.

"Yeah, so when I get in today, she was crying fam. And it wasn't any cry, she's heartbroken boi, and it better not be a nigga." She says then I swallow also starting to feel angry.

"And today she said she had plans with a nigga, then thirty minutes later, I get back in the room and she was getting ready for bed." I say then Mpho clenches her jaw.

"But lemme go check, if I'm not back here in 5mins you can relax." I say then she nods her head and opens her room door.

"Enough of that, you looked like you was in it." She says, her voice getting squeaky then I laugh. We get in the room then close, but don't lock cause I'm leaving now anyways.

"Nigga, tell me why this hun got me hot to tell me I'm leaving with none." I say slouching on her chair by the study desk.

She laughs then I hear someone clear their throat. I see Lunathi there then Mpho and I clear our throats at the same time. "Sorry." We say at the same time.

"Nigga, they all like that, you just have to have you some-" she gestures her head to the side, then I pick up from that. We just gotta have sides.

I laugh as I nod my head. "But I couldn't do that to her, she let me take it bruh." I say then she widens her eyes and opens her mouth in surprise. "Boooiiiiii!" She says dapping me up. (Hitting my hand multiple times)

"And that was yesterday." I say shrugging my shoulders.

"You did the tings." She says kicking and punching the air.

"Nah, cause you know what I be about." I say shrugging my shoulders.

"She prolly rejected you today, cause you got her tired. So take that as a positive thing." She says then I nod my head agreeing with her.

"Plus, I got her back for getting me hot. I was supposed to spend the night." I say then she starts cheesing.

"You my motivation." She says pointing at me.

"Guys, please." Lunathi says then Mpho and I stand.

"I think I should just go." I say then she nods her head.

We stand by the door. "So listen-" we get cut off when we hear muffled screams from my room. We look at each other for a long minute before we hear it again.

We both rush to the door then try opening it, but it's locked. Mpho bangs on the door. "Katli!" She shouts but we just get muffled screams back.

I take one step back. "Move bruh." I say patting Mpho's arm. She moves to the side then as I'm kicking the door, she was jumping to push it with her shoulder.

I goes completely off its hinges then she falls. I let out a sigh as I look at her. "The fuck!" I say then she quickly gets up going to Lele's bed then I quickly rush in and see Mpho pulling some guy off of her.

I let Mpho deal with that then I go to Lele. I sit next to her then she started crying in my arms. I looked around the room and her panty was on the floor, clearly ripped up then I clenched my jaw.
