WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE ?

CHAPTER 37

recap: kaira confronts ! kartik's confession

the chapter starts with kartik saying what his heart longed for 5 long years ;

"the night when i asked you the question the time you went for that exhibition i received a video usmein you going to mihir's room and then mihir coming out of it i still regret believing that one i am sorry i couldn't trust you aur shayad aaj meri wajah se hi kairav hates you i am sorry naira but amongst everything naira shayad yeh pyaar hi tha jisne mujhe tumhein kabhi bhulne nahi diya shayad voh pyaar hi tha naira ki even after 5 years i care for you i trust you i love you <3",said kartik leaving naira in tears speechless and numb

while kartik looked towards naira who was numb he understood that she needed time to think about this because this time if they become kaira kartik did not want them to separate at any cost  this time he wanted it for eternity;

"it's okay naira i understand you want some time i will be waiting for your response whatever is it i will respect that but if this time we become kaira i won't let us get separate i promise",said kartik and got up . he was about to go but a hug stopped him ; 

naira back hugged him making him remember their proposal , their reunion after 2 years it just flew by and stopped to that drastic question making a tear drop fall from his eye . indeed even kartik had beared a lot , he had done many wrong things but he is compensating for it he is guilty and suffering but he knew that if naira and kartik are once again kaira then all those problems will vanish away ;

"nairaa",said kartik

"kartik  let me speak today from the day of that blast i have hidden  kairav from you, i couldn't understand that you needed assurance yeah there was this thing that something is bothering you but i couldn't understand it . i am sorry i shouldn't have run away that day but instead should have told you that there is nothing like that maybe that time if i had done that there would be a fight between us but it wouldn't have extended too much i am sorry kartik i did wrong i am sorry 

it's true that i love you even now but i couldn't express it sometimes aisa lagta tha ki what if that question again comes in between our relationship but i want things to be alright between us like we were before i miss our cute fights, kachori , our nights i miss us kartik i miss us a lot the day when you made me meet papa from that day i felt the same during the whole car ride ",said naira with tears while kartik broke the hug and looked at naira 

both kartik and naira had tears in their eyes after 5 years of pain and separation they never imagined that they would get back together but now they were;

"i love you nairaa",said kartik

"i love you kartik",said naira and they both hugged each other like there is no tomorrow ..indeed for them this hug meant a lot after 5 years they were there in each other's embrace it was life getting their lives back that moment meant a lot , it spoke words not making any noise;

they broke the hug and shared a moments forgetting that there was mishti , abir and vedika getting quite worried as to what is happening in their room;

"abir mujhe lagta hain hamein upar jaana chahiye i am really tensed for them",said mishti

"mishti calm down its their matter let them solve",said abir

"haan mishti if they are shouting at each other let them and if they are confessing let them its in them for 5 years let it come out",said vedika while kaira realising that they should now go , firstly promised each other that they will always be there and went while mishti, abir and vedika on seeing them together were really very happy finally their naira had found a smile on her face which was indeed missing from a long time 

"now we don't think we have to tell something",said kaira together and were then engulfed into a hug by the trio;

"naira di i am so happy for both of you it's really like a dream come true we are so happy thank you bff for getting our di back who just smiles",said mishti

"haan bhai di's smile was vanished from very long time par jab se aap aaye it was back thank you",said abir

"i am so happy for both of you i can't explain it!!",said vedika;

"aree bas bas thank you toh band karo and whatever you say it should be me thanking you guys for taking care of my naira and caring for her when her own family",said kartik but was interrupted;

"kartik don't think about it everything is alright now ",said naira side hugging kartik ; 

a while later we could see them eating dinner together with all the laughs and cheers back everyone was enjoying themselves at the best ofcourse there was a missing one and it was kairav who was being missed by everyone especially naira 

naira pov 

i am so happy finally everything is alright between me and kartik but the missing piece of this puzzle is kairav i know kartik you will try your hundred percent best to remove kairav's hatred i just hope in between all of this kairav doesn't start to hate you . mumma misses you kairav come back na please she is yearning to listen mumma from you 

naira pov ends 

while having them enjoying their was a ring on the door and abir went to check it out having a letter dropped by one of the doctors who work with naira ; 

"abir kaun hain?",asked naira 

"naira di koi letter aaya hain wait i am coming",said abir and he came to the dining table;

"kaise letter abir",asked kartik

"bhai koi hospital se aaya hain ",said abir

"hospital show me",said naira confused and abir gave her that letter . when she opened that letter life turned upside down for her she was shocked and the letter droped from her hands making everyone worry;

"kya hua naira ?",asked kartik who was hell worried but naira was not speaking anything making everyone worried while abir who picked up the letter was shocked himself ;

"abir what's in this letter?",asked mishti

"RESIGNATION LETTER",said abir completley stunned himself shocking others

"what?",gasped everyone at this newly found information because for them naira had worked really sincerely for the past 5 years without any complaints and she was indeed one of the best doctors

"what yeh kaise ho sakta hain di aapko kuch idea tha kya iske baarein mein",asked mishti

"mr. dixit you did not do the right thing",said naira making everyone confused
