"Well that was painfully exhausting" Tony complained, they were on his private jet on their way back from a meeting— a failed one at that.

Most of the team rolled their eyes at him "maybe it wouldn't have been so exhausting if you didn't complain the whole way to the jet" Natasha told him "yeah what was it? Something about how you'd rather be in your workshop" Clint added "I think it was 'I'd rather be in my workshop right now than in this putrid poor excuse of a city" Steve also added to the Tony slander.

Tony simply put his sunglasses on and took a sip from his drink "and I stand by that statement" he told them all with a smirk on his face.

"Diva" Steve mumbled making a few around him chuckle.

It wasn't long before they began talking in their own small groups, finally leaving Tony alone; Natasha was sat beside Wanda who had been too busy staring out of the window to join in on their past conversation, she had been oddly quiet.

Natasha put her hand on Wanda's knee making her jump "are you okay Wands? You've been really quiet" Nat questioned concerned and Wanda just nodded her heads "don't worry I'm fine, I'm thinking about the conference that's all" she tried her best to alleviate Nat's concern.

"Is this about what that damn reporter said? If so then don't listen to him, he obviously doesn't know how kind and gentle you are, if that doesn't work then I can always pay him a visit" Natasha told her jokingly however Wanda knew there was some seriousness behind it, she forced a chuckle.

It seemed that whenever she was forced to talk to reporters all they did was bring up her past— specifically her destruction of Sokovia, which is what he did.

His exact words were something along the lines of "it's no surprise you failed with that ticking time bomb that you call scarlet witch, she's a has been"

"Its nothing Nat, really" Wanda reassured and that was the truth, she was used to all the comments she had received over the past couple of years, it was practically second nature for the scarlet witch. Right now she was worried about food.

Sometimes it was funny for her to think that the ruthless scarlet witch was afraid of something as unimportant calories, but she was.

Natasha pulled her lips into a smile and kissed Wanda on the cheek "I'm glad you're okay, I love you" she whispered into Wanda's ear and then pulled away "I love you too" Wanda whispered back as she interlocked her hand with Nat's.

She always seemed to help calm her with the thoughts, even if she didn't even know it. It didn't take the thoughts away completely though merely mute them temporarily.

"We should get pizza when we get back, I'm too tired to cook" Sam announced to the group, it was always kind of a tradition to have takeout after a trip whether it was a mission or not, plus Sam didn't feel like cooking and it was his night.

Now Wanda's thoughts had returned however much to her dismay everyone agreed with Sam, it wasn't often that they allowed themselves to eat greasy takeout food with them being avengers and all.

Whilst Wanda was silently panicking about it the group had begun a small disagreement with where they should get the pizza, Tony being himself of course put in his input saying 'his opinions were the best'.

The scarlet witch quietly sighed as she leaned back against her seat, she noticed Nat sparing her a worrying glance "plane sickness" Wanda mumbled as she closed her eyes, she didn't intend to sleep; instead she wanted to pretend she wasn't there.

'Pietro wouldn't want me to eat that' she thought to herself.
