"Do you want me to try hamon or just try and like- whip it?"

"Do whatever you see fit." Simply replying back with that she crossed her arms stepping to the side, eyes watching you like a hawk curious to see what you'd do.

Moving to flick it you heard a cough from Lisa Lisa, turning to see that she already had something to say. "If you flick it that way it's going to come back and hit you. It's in the elbow, not wrist." Explaining why she'd halted you the woman went quiet once more, no more instructions were uttered.

Taking in what she'd said you followed through with a motion watching the end of the whip hit the ground pathetically, the main body of it barely moved which is what you assumed wasn't supposed to happen.

Continuing to flick it a few more times you were eventually able to get a solid crack out of it, the tip of it letting out a loud noise as it slapped against the air. Peering towards your teacher briefly you could see that she was pleased by the way you picked it up quickly.

A faint smile began crawling onto your expression and after a few more cracks you'd decided to try your hand at infusing it with hamon. The same strand that you saw from before lit up, a pale yellow colour crawled out from the handle fading into a pearly white.

Something you didn't recall Lisa Lisa's looking like.

"Interesting." Holding up a hand for you to pause, the brown haired woman neared the section of the whip that shifted from pale yellow to white, her hands ran across the fibers before a low hum left her lips.

She wasn't sure why the colour varied from her own nor why it became lighter the farther down it was.

"What's wrong?" Unable to help yourself from asking, you watched her gaze trail up the length of the whip towards where your hand curled around the thick handle, the area of which was a darker yellow compared to the paler one.

Wordlessly she brought the end of the whip over watching as the pearly white gradually became more yellow.

"It seems like the farther away your hamon is, the more potent it is." Explaining that she could right away tell you were confused, opening her mouth to explain some more. "Think of it like fire. An orange flame will always be cooler than a blue one."

Once again your mouth fell open into an 'O' shape piecing together what she'd been saying, "And is that a good thing?"

Letting go of the whip she led out a loud hum, "It is. It means you're progressing quicker than I had anticipated with your ripple." Crossing her arms much like before her eyes trailed across the weapon before falling onto you. "And now because of that for the next two days I want you to continue training with that whip, after which I will evaluate how much has changed."

"Does that sound fair?"

Knowing that you wanted to learn more about how to wield and properly fight you gave the woman a determined nod. "Yes ma'am. I will train my hardest."

And train is what you did, for the next two days at least.

Those days of which you practiced with your newly attained whip till eventually your muscles began to stiffen. Allowing yourself to fall back onto the grass your eyes trailed up towards the sky, you hadn't seen Caesar nor Joseph in the past few days though asking Lisa Lisa about it the woman merely replied with 'they were training'.

A deep breath of air entered your lungs before a faint noise caught your attention, something that sounded similar to water splashing. Moving your gaze towards where it came from your eyes landed on the tower in the middle of the courtyard.

Originally the building wasn't something you paid much attention to, with the large stairs curling up the sides you brushed it off as some sort of observation tower. Although with the noise you began to assume otherwise.

Curiosity ended up getting the best of you and much to your muscled protest you scaled the stairs feeling nearly burnt out at the top.

The circular platform in the middle of the floor caught your attention right away following the small bridges that attached to it. The air around the openings felt hot, humid even the closer you got and it wasn't until you trail your gaze over the edge did you understand why. Oil coated the length of the middle pillar all the way down and what appeared to have been a split section in the middle sprayed out the substance.

Moving your gaze back up they flickered towards a familiar brown haired woman, a faint smile was strewn out across her expression while Joseph kneeled among the ground holding a cup of what you presumed was water.

Making your way over Caesar was the first to notice you, the blond opening his mouth to speak before you cut him to it. "Why do you look so greasy?" Taking the time to point out the way his entire being shined your eyes trailed across him for a second or two easily able to decipher that it wasn't sweat.

"Because JoJo and I have been stuck in oil for the past two days?" His words came out in more of a questioning manner before watching you piece together exactly what the tower was for, the expression you'd made in response caused him to laugh faintly. "What have you been doing?"

"Training as well," Answering simply with that your gaze flickered towards where the oil would be. "And what I thought was hard is literally nothing close to what I assumed you two have been through."

Catching sight of you through the corner of his vision Joseph waved a hand in the air, his other showing the upside down cup of water. "Look (Y/N)!" Although you couldn't see it, you assumed the brunette was smiling from the way his eyes creased.

"Good job JoJo!" Praising the brunette you watched him flip the cup back over to hold it properly, both hands coming to hold it before a finger had poked itself into the water.

Trailing your eyes up the arm that rested over the brunette, they landed on two burly men. Both of which wore large hats and were cloaked in colours of red and yellow. The one who'd poked the water raised the cup out of Joseph's hand removing the glass to show the liquid entirely intact.

Something even you haven't seen yet.

Amazed by how it held its shape you couldn't help but speak, a sort of excitement was evident in your tone. "The water- it looks like jello!"

Smiling softly at what you'd said Lisa Lisa moved to stand in front of the two, her authoritative voice introducing the two as Messina and Loggins, Joseph and Caesars new instructors. "These two will teach you both the ways of hamon."

Watching the two instructors interact with Joseph and Caesar you couldn't help but laugh softly, although they both appeared tired from their previous training they also seemed ecstatic to continue.

"(Y/N), you will continue to be trained under me. I wish to try some new techniques with you." Approaching your side Lisa Lisa hummed softly, her eyes briefly lingered on the other before looking back at you.

She could see some sort of hidden potential within you, ready to be unlocked.
